What coaches do you think will be fired after this week?

I'll start by saying Eric Mangini will be fired after today. The Steelers are beating the Browns 31-3 at the half.

ESPN is suggesting that he'll be one of a number of "Black Monday" terminations.

BIM: "Which coaches...." ;)

Whizenhunt and the entire coaching staff, along with Graves. This team has to start over at a lot of positions, just as the Buccaneers did.

Yup fire Whiz. I was on the fence until he yanked skelton to put in a QB that won't even be on the roster next season. For what purpose Ken?

Warner clearly made the Cardinals contenders, not the coaching staff.

If Whiz got canned, I wouldn't be upset in the least. I have lost complete faith in him. Can't stand most of his decisions, whether it's game planning, play calling, coaching hires, or personnel moves.

I'm terribly excited to hear his press conference when he says, "well, obviously we're disappointed." Also, can't wait for us to sign Bulger and some has-been Steeler in the off-season, and for him to continue benching Wells next year.

This knee jerk type of reaction is what made the Cardinals so terrible for years. If the Cardinals fired Whiz you might as well go back to playing in Sun Devil stadium because you are running without any professionalism at all. Force him to make changes, and give him the opportunity to get us back to the playoffs that we won a game in last year.

Ok, what changes do you want forced on him? Take away his play calling duties? Fire the coaches he hired? Play the players he continues to sit on the bench? Game plan differently? Draft differently? What's left? The guy has done NOTHING to improve this team since he took over. Tell me what he's done to improve our team. Tell me why I should have faith in him next year. Because he took us to the SB with Denny Green's players? Convince me. I'm ready.

He took the team to the Super Bowl and won 4 playoff games. He took garbage and made it respectable. At all levels.

Yes, you force him to hire legit coordinators on both sides so he can focus on coaching the entire team.

You come up with a plan going forward at QB. Veteran, rookie, trade, draft free agency. You figure out that plans support system, and then you start formulating a backup plan to make sure that unless everything falls apart, the QB position is not an issue.

Cable getting fired makes no sense. They were 5-11 last season and a horrible 5-11 at that and this season they go 8-8 and were undefeated in their division. That means they beat the division winning Chiefs and the Chargers twice. Same with Del Rio. How do you fire a coach who was 1 game from a division title with mediocre QB?

What are you talking about??? Warner, Fitz, Boldin, Dockett, Dansby, Wilson? Hardly garbage! So your solution is to have a plan??? Well, guess what? He did. Sign Anderson. Draft Skelton. Sign UDFA Hall. Cut Leinart right before the season. Start Anderson, who is and was one of the worst Quarterbacks in the league. Bench Anderson. Start Hall. Bench Hall. Start Skelton. Bench Skelton. Play Bartell (or whatever his name is). Nice plan. Can't wait for more.

If Fisher gets fired I would try to bring him as the GM

As Darren Urban said if Skelton's growth was stunted because he didn't play a quarter in a meaningless game then he isn't going to be the answer. I didn't realize pulling a guy with a quarter to go in the season is the death toll for a coaching career.

I think Fisher will take some time off. At least a year. The shame of it is is that he's the only coach the Titans have ever known and was the last Oilers head coach.

If Kevin Gilbride become available, might he be a decent OC?
