Ug. I can't wait until the Suns win this series so people will finally shut up with this "the playoffs are different" "the playoffs are about the half court game", etc etc etc. What a load of horse crap, basketball is basketball, the Suns style can be just as effective as any other style in the NBA, it comes down to injuries and who plays better for 7 games.

Most of the spurs fans aren't even worried about the suns, most of them think the spurs will steamroll the suns in a 5 game series.

I am definately happy the spurs fans are thinking that way, I only hope the spurs team also feels that way and the suns can surpise them the first few games.

It will be a great series.

I obviously am biased and feel the Spurs will win--but it is going to be tough as hell--much tougher than 2005.

I don't think predicting the Spurs win in 5 games is that unreasonable.

Neither is Suns in 5!

considering that we're 4-14 (or something horrid like that) against them in the last three years, I'd say it's pretty far fetched to say Suns in 5 is a likely scenario.

think about it guys, if we were going up against the Rockets, wouldn't we feel the same way? That we would beat them in 5, 6 games Max? That's basically who we are at this point to Spurs fans - we're they're Rockets.

i respect your opinion,i dont see how this is true. houston is a defensive team, and so is SA but SA of course does that style much better. We play the total opposite style as the spurs, so its kind of a ying and yang thing. no way can houston beat us in 7 games, but no way will the suns go down in less than 6 to SA.

huh? All I'm saying is that when you're the fan of a team (like the Spurs) that regularly beats another (the Suns) you're going to have supreme confidence, just like us, as Suns fans, have supreme confidence against Houston. It's a matter of perspective. I'm not saying those guys are right, but I can see where they're saying it.

where the hell is people getting the notion that San Antonio owns us. That craps in the past. We played 3 games against them this season, two in SA. Although we only won one game, the other two could have gone either way. This is going to be
a dog fight to the finish....Suns in 7

the past ain't the past until you get past it. This is where we get the chance to show that we're ready for the next step. I can't wait to see how we respond.

but I'm sorry, when you've only beaten a team 4 times over three seasons, that's called being owned. Only way to change that is to knock their asses out of the playoffs.

I think the Spurs beat us. They play tuff D, and they continue to drive to the basket & kill our D.

If the Suns beat the Spurs then I think the Suns win it all. IMO the Spurs are the hardest team for us to match up with.

They'll get the split, hold court at home and whether it goes 5 or 6 will be determined by whether they can win game 5 on the road or wait to go back home to do it.

Here's how I feel the series could play out in the Suns favor. If the Suns can open the series with two home wins I feel they will be on well on their way because I think they will split the two games in SA. Then the Suns will come back home and win game 4. Thus, the Suns could win 4-1... I'm wishing and hoping. :)

I know this is all a stretch but I have to believe in the Suns.

Thus the opening two games are of utmost importance to the Suns. However, if SA wins one of the two opening games in Phoenix, I think it will be a long tough series.

If the Spurs earn a split in the first two, we'd better hope it's a long tough series, because there ain't no way the Suns would then win both in San Antonio.
