1. I hate the fact that we lack any sense of urgency or killer instinct. We were in both games that we lost, and had a torrid start to each one, but failed to convert when we had all the momentum. The missed chip shot FG completely turned the game around and it was all downhill after that.
2. I hate the fact that Amos Jones is still employed. Players miss FGs and shank punts, but when there is no semblance of blocking in either situation, it drastically affects how players execute
3. I hate the fact that our GM thinks he can outsmart everyone and for this season, he really just played himself. We're paying HOW MUCH for a hot-headed TE that gets at least one dumb penalty a game and can't block/chip a DE to save his life?
4. I hate the fact that some of our "key" players spend more time on social media than perfecting their craft. One of our players even goes as far as proclaiming himself as the best defensive player in the league and spends an inordinate amount of time with dramatic posts (how about getting off of social media altogether to avoid the distraction?). Also, I've learned through social media that another one of our former first rounders is really good at jazz and has a unique sense of style (which he flaunts non stop), but can't sniff the field (or gets called for an offsides at least once per game).
5. I hate the fact that we're wasting away Larry's (probable) last year in the league. Did anyone see when the cameras panned over to Larry sitting by himself on the bench in the waning moments of the game last night? All of our youngsters may not care that much, since their days in the league are not numbered and they can take a loss in stride, but every minute of each game counts for him. This is why it was so heartbreaking to see him so emotional after the NFCC loss at Carolina. It takes intense dedication and sacrifice to get anywhere in the NFL, and I just wish this guy could get a championship.
6. I hate the fact that we are not taking advantage of a "down" year for the NFC west. The Rams (the LA freaking RAMS) are on top of our division. Seattle's O-line looks worse than ours (if that is even fathomable), and we have not taken advantage of that (see point #1 in terms of urgency)
