now that we have a new head coach and a good chance at eli and some good free agents. what do you think the chances are that we might be on monday night football or sunday night this year? if we do and if we have eli i think we might be playing against colts or vikings. its been awhile..

I don't believe (in fact I'm almost positive) the T.V. schedule hasn't been set yet, but as far as WHO we play, that's already been determined.
This team will once again not see a Monday Night game this year! You can take that to the bank!
Everyone was clammoring that we would have one last year the Parcells/Emmitt game yada yada yada and I told them they were wrong and got jumped all over for it.
But just wait and see!

if emmitt vs. dallas and parcells did not warrant an appearance...not sure sure any of those games will either. If someone like the rams or patriots win the super bowl...then with green here they might consider a sunday night game against someone of that caliber...but I would not cross my fingers...since green was with ESPN...that might help our cause..especially for a sunday night game.
the last national non-sunday afternoon game at SDS was when Aeneas ended steve youngs career a few years back.
the worst disaster was the national night game where buddy walked off the field before the game was over....
regardless of what people say..the cardinals usually make for decent tv - but usually for the wrong reasons...

We will maybe get a Sunday night game on ESPN, but no way we get on MNF....
You need to have a winning record the year before to get on. I think it is a rule I read somewhere.
When I think about it, I can't think of a team that has been on , who had a loosing record the year before.
ESPN is another story, especially with Green as our HC.

There is no rule for MNF they just go with what match up would give them the best ratings. However I don't see the Cards being one of those match ups this year.
Sunday Night Football on the other hand ... I could see happening!
