We thought we were playing the Bears, and it turns out we were playing the Bears.

I went back to review my TIVO of the game and my pictures from the game... Yep, damn sure about it...was Da Bears

I think it is obvious what it meant. They are the same team that we beat in preseason. The third game is where they play starters against starters for three quarters. We are capable of beating that team and we blew it.

I thought it was obvious too. "They are who we thought they were.... a team that we beat in the preseason, a team that we can expose, and a team that does not deserve the Better than '85 Bears talk."

If there was two positive things that came out of this week:

1. There is no more "Better than the '85 Bears talk".
2. No more grumblings about Rex Grossman for MVP talk.
