Sebastian Janikowski arrested again Saturday in Walnut Creek. This time the drunken kicker apparently assaulted several bar patrons, and smashed several side windows on cars after being thrown out of the bar. He was arrested, and of course WILL play in tonights game!

I do not get it, the guy should have been deported 2 years ago for his constant lawbreaking. This is beyond favoritism does he have diplomatic immunity or something?

I can not believe how much the Raiders will tolerate from this felon do they have no moral values expectations on their players at all? First Romo now this, unreal.

He won't be deported. Not until his playing days are over anyways. I bet the NFL suspends him after this latest one though.

Raiders have little choice but to play him right now. It isn't like there is a backup K on the team.

The punter can kick. And for the record I think the NFL should suspend him right now and force them to use a punter. What better warning to other NFL teams than to have a player on your team suspended before a Monday night game?

This happened Saturday but was not in the Sunday papers. He of course says they're blowing it out of proportion but apparently SEVERAL people at the bar called police because of him at the time.

Unreal. The NFL has such a double standard they go after the Broncos for lying about jake's injury and switching uniform colors, but they don't get involved in this kind of stuff?

If the Raiders lost a game as a result of Seabass maybe they would stop being so tolerant of him and just get a kicker who can stay out of trouble in bars?

This stuff really chaps me, like the players don't already have an astigmatism (-:

How has Janikowski avoided the substance abuse program? Seems like he should be the poster boy for it.

This line says it all. Until he actually hurts the TEAM, he will be given leeway by the Raiders. Teams give players leeway alot unfortunately. If this were Billy G, would you be more tolerant because he is a good FG kicker (we know the Cards front office wouldn't be more tolerant)?

Eventually though, Janikowski will make a mistake that will directly effect his team and then the hammer will come down.

I do agree though that he has had enough run-ins that the league MUST levy a suspension if their policies are to be taken seriously.

No idea unless they don't count alcohol, which they probably don't.

He's still on probation I believe, the last time the judge told him point blank this is a warning if you do this again you will not like the repercussions. I am REALLY hoping they're serious, i hate to just say deport the guy that sounds pretty harsh, but he clearly doesn't give a damn about the law SOMETHING needs to happen to him. Make him miss the rest of the NFL season in jail and I'm betting he might sober up.

You want to get drunk fine, but don't go assaulting people and breaking windows and mirrors because you get tossed out of a bar.

Supposedly at least one of the patrons has indicated he's going to press charges.

Most drug programs don't test for alcohol. It leaves the body so quickly, it's hard to catch unless the guy comes in drunk when he takes the test. If you only have a small amount in your sample, there's no way of knowing whether it's from one beer or a case of beer.

They probably would have dumped Janikowski a long time ago if the Raiders hadn't spent a first round pick on him. They probably keep him around just to save face.

Think about that. The Raiders could have kept Joe Nedney or picked up a guy like Tim Duncan for nothing and instead they wasted a first-rounder on a head-case kicker!

Hilarious!

The guy is a idiotbut he hasn`t tried to run over his wife with a car.Why both are playing is a Big joke to me.Pittman is a repeat offender and Janokowski is a boozehead. The league should just be able to suspend for up to a season depending on the crime IMO.
