Can somebody please explain to me what happened to Leandro Barbosa in this series? How was he 'neutralized' as many of you say he's been? I dont know much about the game of basketball except to enjoy watching it, but I was wondering - and hoping - that if this mystery around Barbosa's performance is solved, we can win tomorrow.

He has sort of reverted to out of control mode.

He drives to the basket, the Spurs collapse, he makes a poor pass or shot. It is just a comfort zone thing that I believe he can overcome.

Expect him to bounce back tomorrow. He just couldn't buy a bucket in game 4, much less a foul in the series.

They just have been playing him tighter than any other team does and he is having a hard time adjusting.

He has had room to shoot. They just play the drive and let him throw up a chaotic drive/shot. It really shows how masterfull Nash is at preventing that strategy from working.

The Spurs generally take away two things - three point shooting, and easy finishes at the rim. They have tenacious perimeter defenders, and a legitimate shot-blocker in Duncan. Those are the two main tenets of Leandro's game; no wonder he's having trouble.

It appeared to me they have been banging him pretty hard.
But, as the last game went on he seemed to toughen up some. He started to fight back and I thought he fouled a couple times without it being called. We certainly need him to step up now!

Leandro came through big in Game 6 last year when Bell was suspended and LB stepped in for him. I know the Spurs aren't the Lakers. I know LB does better coming off the bench, and he probably will tomorrow. But maybe knowing we need everything he's got in this game will light him up.

LB is a baller. Seriously! The guy just loves everything about the game of basketball it seems. I would not be shocked at all to see a new career from him tomorrow night.
