What has happened to this offense since 2015?

You know back in the day when getting 1000 yards meant something because you only played 12 games, yes he did great and this took place in what has become a passing league... yes, impressive when you take into account our OL too from my observation

That's why I used the comparison for 11 games compared to 12 before like days past to chart whether or not he did something significant for the team in perspective... in other words, there is no basis having to discredit his accomplishment of 800 yards for the span of time which he did because using his injury afterwards does not pertain to the argument in question and that is his 800 yards in a certain span of time, and people where talking about his contribution past Cardinal fans when he was playing and made those strides

Jet this wasn't about anything you said. Smelly said that his 800 yards were the reason we were 13-3. I am not discrediting anything CJ did, I'm just saying his 800 was not the main reason we won so many games.

His point is that CJ made a big difference on offense for balance and his point is valid. You can try to nitpick it to fit your narrative but regardless a balanced run/ pass attack wins games and he is right.

Kerwynn was not gonna do Jack. 9 out of 10 of us know this. CJ should have been starting period. This team better hope JJ can be a solid number 2 of not it's gonna be a long season for the offense

Not nit picking at all, he thinks it was all CJ and I say DJ had just as much to do with it. DJ had a high YPC average than CJ did. His point if you've been reading is that 3 yards and a cloud of dust is the way to win in the NFL, and I must admit I liked that old school football too, but the game is different now. The 2015 super bowl champ finished 30 in he league in rushing, I guess it wasn't important to them.

PS I agree that a balanced attack is preferred but with our line its almost impossible. Not to mention if/when you're playing from behind you're not going to be balanced.

I would be too - I mean stupid Levi, Leonard davis etc etc ad nauseum - why can't they block NFL defenses with their ears pinned back 50 times every game - stupid QBs too all 10 of them - after KW got his head ripped off when we only ran 10 rush plays in the 09 saints playoff blowout - stupid so and so so's - all we need to do is pass 50 times a game - and give the opprnents our play book - geesh why don't they get it! It's been 10 years

Smelly I guess my point is that you're dwelling on things from 10 years ago. You bring up names from 7 to 10 years ago. We get it you want us to be a 3 yard and a cloud of dust team. I love that kind of football, I'm damn near 60 years old, I get it. It's just time for you to get up to the 2017 season.
