For me... It's the turn around and scramble, right into the teeth of the blitz for a 12 yard loss...I think he's averaging about 2 or 3 of these a game lately.
Followed closely by the "When you have the rare couple of seconds without pressure, throw the out route for a pick"

This team is poorly lead.... I was harping on KK early, and got flack for it, I even took some humble pie, because we were winning...

But I'll stick to my guns this time.... KK is a horrible game manager, makes terrible decisions often, His play-calling is completely suspect, and he doesn't seem capable of inspiring confidence.

I was more worried about Vance heading into this season, But in spite of our soft run stopping, I'm pleasantly surprised with the D... Considering the amount of time they've had to be on the field lately.

The real question is Kliff the answer?
What’s the question? Is it “can we turn Kyler Murray into a big game quarterback?”

Then probably not.

If it’s, “Can this guy be as good or better than Marty Schottenheime?” my answer is probably yes.

We're also 1-0 without KK and Kyler in there...all while the offensive production looked pretty decent against the browns. So as long as we're going with miniscule track records, I'll keep with the theme... :)

KK has already failed to be as good as Schottenheime who had the Browns in the playoffs in his second season as head coach.

Lol okay. He took over a team that was 9-7 the prior year and has been basically on the sam trajectory as Kliff.

I’m not sure why the question always seems to be blame kyler or blame kliff? I think: blame them both.
Because you have some people who think it is about the X's and O's and others who think it is about the Jimmy's and Joe's. Ultimately you are correct that it is not 100% one or the other. I guess I generally assume we are debating who gets the 70% of blame and who gets the 30%.

I think it’s virtually impossible to make that determination unless it’s COMPLETELY obvious - but that doesn’t happen often. But the coaches and QB usually bear the greatest responsibility and have the biggest impact on the game.

I'm not sure Kliff can reach Schottenheimer level and even if he can do we want a HC who can never lead this team to a Super Bowl and have a 5-13 career playoff record like Schotty? I am already a believer that Kyler will not deliver on winning consistently in big games.

We’re lucky Kyler is so Gifted because it’s the only thing that compensates for his Blok level skiddishness.

I disagree. Everyone else was going to the sticks on that play and Kyler got rid of it like a hot potato.
That play typically requires linemen setting up to block for him. I don’t know that specific play, but the vast majority of Rondale plays are quick hit designed plays not check downs.

I think Kyler's favorite play is not in the game plan.

For reals, What is the most successful pass play that Kyler has used multiple times?

Idk what his signature play is but I know what it should be. Park his butt under center & have him play fake & bootleg, he's deadly rolling right where he has no defender to throw or see over. But..............KK refuses to put him under center very often & would rather him stand in shotgun, then clap giving the defense the count to tee off on him. He now runs for his life & either gets sacked or drops down into the fetal position lol. This offense could do so much more from under center, the play fake alone freezes LB's just enough to gain an advantage between the 2nd & 3rd level of defense.

How little you must think of Kliff to think he’s call a zero-yard play on 3rd and 9.
I just said I don’t know that specific play. The vast majority of Rondales one yard or behind the line plays are called for that to be the primary target as they are so quick hitting. That particular play may have been a check down. But this thread is “kylers favorite plays” and the majority of Rondale plays have been by design to use his gadgetry as a primary option.

I'm guessing Kliff keeps him in shotgun, because he's afraid of batted balls, which are happening with increased frequency anyway.
