The offensive line is no better now than it was in 2007 when Grimm came on board.

I don't think that's the case. Because it's not just sacks. Levi Brown was actually pretty solid at RT before he got moved over. Sendlein has been the only player to improve. Lutui IMO is a mild upgrade over Rex Hadnot (who does nothing well except apparently make weight), and Colledge is probably worse than Reggie Wells was when he was a captain of the unit (!!).

It's remarkable that we've invested so much in the offensive line through free agency and received no improvement whatsoever. What has the investment of some $8 million in Russ Grimm over the past five or six years reaped?

but we did get Kerry Rhodes and Daryl Washington out of it... So I'm not too sad

DWash with Boldin trade.- would rather have Boldin but I do love DWash, Rhodes after Rolle cashed in huge.- great move imo. Dansby..... Nothing.

Obvioulsy I can't say for a fact, but I think the Cards draft Washington even if the kept KD and the ILB position would be Wash and Dansby. That would be pretty good.

We all know my thoughts on Rolle/Rhodes. I still don't see how that is a win for the Cards. Rolle went to the pro bowl year one and was a key player for the SB winner year two. Rhodes was good his first year, injured his second, and cost an extra draft pick.

interesting

most of those guys could be best described as "good..... enough"

Clady is probably the best of that bunch

after that............

Clady is the best of that group and it isn't even close.

Two draft picks to replace Dansby, two draft picks to replace Rolle. Boldin hasn't been replaced but we haven't used any draft picks to try and do so. Four draft picks and DRC in failed attempts to replace Warner.

Meanwhile it only took one 4th round draft pick to replace 3 guys, Okeafor, Berry and Porter.

University of Texas players are just that good. :D

Get the heck out of here echo////// I think Levi is a much better tackle L or R-than any of the talent evaluaters on the board, We pay the Cards they pay him close to 10 mill a year... We pay he recieves We pay He recieves We Pay He Recieves....
or another teams fan pays and he recieves the same

Cause its the stupid pass like your hair is on fire coaches--- regardless of the Tackle or QB or RB we toss it 2 out of 3 plays for 5 years.

I think Levi's talent is equal to the coherent level of this post or my ability to decipher. Whichever is the lesser of the two.

Ok Breather over

Levi will get close to 10 million dollars or more a year, Because many on here are wrong about his evaluation and his value. His current contract forces an extension at this point of his rookie contract. tackles are hard to find and in a tradition balanced offensive scheme He will be even more a beast.

Kurt has many records and would not be HOF QB without playing behind Levi's blocking. Fitz has benefitted by Levis pass protection, everybody screams how bad he is after he anchored the oline that gave us unprecedented success, We dared defenses to blitz Levi every Down!

Maybe we don't deserve him? I think he is atreasure to be cherished not trash to be tossed aside. ask Beanie who He would rather run behind?

I think the Cards have already moved on from Levi. Otheriwse you would hear something from Graves giving his lip service about trying to keep him. Plus there is this from Dan Pompei:

*Levi Brown is not out of contract, but chances are he will be on the open market. And chances are he will have a number of interested suitors. In fact, Brown could be the best offensive tackle on the market. The fifth pick of the 2007 draft had been a disappointment earlier in his career, but he played pretty well for the Cardinals in 2011 and is drawing interest from other teams who are anticipating Brown shaking free. The Cardinals owe Brown a $6 million bonus on March 13, and his salary for 2012, the last year of his rookie deal, is $14.5 million. So far, the Cardinals have not attempted to restructure or extend Brown’s contract.

I know Graves can only do 1 thing at a time but they would probably at least have talked to him about re-doing his contract.

lol, so Beanie, a RB that's never played for another pro team, or behind anybody else other than Levi, should be the beacon of experience? When was the last time he was healthy all season anyways? Oh yeah, never

God, Graves seems continually surprised by decisions that other GMs make on a regular basis.

I'm so excited to have Mike Adams wearing #75 to start of the 2012 Arizona Cardinals season. Almost as excited as I will be to see Levi Brown in the Arizona Cardinals 2013 calendar. :bang: :bang: :bang:

We'll have Money Mike Adams and Mo' Money Mike Adams.

well

He is our all time single game rushing record holder! Did it on one Leg behind Smushdown Levi Brown! Ha Ha

Do you know how embarressing it is to have Mcfadden go back to the Steelers- Horton says He had to coach the Cardinal out of him- and our big FA signing is cut -and goes back to the SB!

I want to defend whisenstupid, Faneca, Porter, Mcfad? Add up what we paid for those great whisenhunt signings and their production produced!

Then come back and tell me what Levi is and is not worth to SMART NFL TEAMS!

No average LT is worth 10 million per year.

You make my head hurt.

Dear lord....what a pathetic market it must be if this is true.

This all has to be an act... right? Is it even worth mentioning that Brown was NOT the starting LT during the superbowl season?

My God Smelly, can you please just type in English?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!? Would it really be that difficult?? I would ground my six year old for a month if he ever submitted a mess like that to school. I honestly want to know what you have to say, but there isn't enough time in the day to decode it.

That's what I've been trying to say for the past six months. While the Cards weren't being serious about extending Calais Campbell, they could've been reducing Brown's salary number and getting him in the $7-$9 million range that would make Chopper (and I) more comfortable going forward.

Instead, we're going to let him reach free agency and miss out on D'Brickashaw Ferguson and instead end up with Mike Brown.

Get excited for another five years of disappointing play! Who are the better players that we're going to pass on in order to reach for Brown?

What are your thoughts on OT Jonathan Martin?
