What is more important, a win or loss this week against the Chargers?

I saw Pat Tillman ride his bike around ASU when I was there. His long flowing locks gliding down the McAllister Mall. Ahhhhh.......:tango:

Stupid question - who cares about the draft when we still have a game to play?

A win might save Green's job, plus build some momentum going into next year. A loss helps the Cardinals with a better draft pick. Which one do you prefer?

I cannot help myself. I want the Cards to win and go into next season feeling good about themselves. I think Green's fate is sealed for better or for worse regardless of the outcome.

I cant believe its even a question. WIN WIN WIN. We have had 10+yrs of high draft order and look where it has got us. That is just the wrong attitude to have.

Always a win... even if it means a remote possibility for Green coming back...

However, I just don't think it is going to happen... we are going to be spanked.

Need a great game out of the team to show they are developing into a playoff caliber team. Win or lose, it needs to be close and showcase the prospects of this teams future. The possibilty of luring more quality free agents here can hinge on the play of this game. If the Cards can show they are on the cusp of contending, it'll go a long way towards turning heads. It can also be something that would tempt a quality coach to come in here.

As for Green, the Cards had better have someone with a high pedigree ready from day 1 of time allowed to sign a new coach or it's going to slim pickings in F/A. No quality player is going to sign for a team with an unproven head coach. That would include Carroll. He has yet to prove he can coach in the NFL. The top players that are looking to compete for a ring don't want to wait 3 years for a system to take hold. We would have a better chance with Green in place. Are there any coaches out there that can fill the bill? I don't think so.

As for the draft? Once you're out of the top 3, the prestige of the pick diminishes. By that I mean trade value. Those picks are usually used on the top "rated" QB's and RB's and will net you more in trade return. That is if you are able to find anyone willing to trade. See Houston last year and San Francisco before that. Maybe the more coveted draft positions are now picks 4 through 10. Less expensive slots with great possibilty of landing a star player. See our own Cards last year.

Play well Cards! I want to know the light ahead is the end of the tunnel instead of an oncoming train.
