The Wire had the closest thing to a real newspaper newsroom I've ever seen on film. The look, the people, the conflicts, the attitude -- it was very, very real and familiar to me.

As I was telling abomb and a friend last night, The Wire makes Sopranos look like a high school play.

It seems everyone is saying great things about this show, I really need to watch it. I still need to watch Rome too.
