I figured because we are in a slow period, I would try and get this forum going.

As for my favorite all-time regular season game, it probably is that 17 inning(I think it went that long) game at San Francisco.

In no real particular order:

Randy Johnson's perfect game - This one would probably be my favorite, getting a chance to see a future hall of famer turn in a historic performance lessened the blow of an otherwise forgettable 2004 season.

Randy Johnson 20 strikeouts - Back in 2001, against the Reds I believe. A taste of things yet to come in that special year. Unfortunately it doesn't tie the official MLB record because the game went into extra innings or something like that.

Curt Schilling had a one or two hitter early in the 2002 season (against Milwaukee?), I can't remember too many of the details. The guy was just so lights out for much of that year, its a shame that injuries late that year cost the Diamondbacks a chance to do any damage in the playoffs.

Opening Day 1998 - Truth be told I cant recall too much from the game itself past the first inning or so, probably due to the fact that the Diamondbacks got drilled by the Rockies that game. It was an exciting day though, and the pregame festivities and player introductions before Arizona's first pro baseball team to call their own took the field was great to watch.

I was lucky enough to be in the stands when Richie Sexson hit that home run off the jumbotron. I think they estimated that at 508 feet, wow did he kill that ball.

I don't remember too many of the great regular season games on TV, just the plays, but I'd say the one I went to when Gonzo hit a walk-off a couple sections by us. That's also the game we got a foul ball off Tracy's bat. :p

Probably either Schilling vs Pedro @ Fenway in 2002 or Brandon Webb beating Tom Glavine in his major league debut.

Mine would have to be the first time I was able to see the D-Backs at home in July of 1998. That trip and seeing that game is what has pretty much made me a D-Backs fan to this day.

If it's not that, probably RJ's perfect game at Atlanta.

Sounds average to all of your choices, but this past August 26th. Cubs @ Dbacks, the Cub fans talking monumental amounts of mierda, then talikng it right back to them after the Dbacks won. I hate Cubs fans.

Favorite game (regular season)

May 16th, 2001 @ Cincinnati

In what has become probably my favorite (non-World Series winning) baseball memory, my son and I were at Cinergy Field to watch BK strike out Deion "Prime Time" Sanders on three straight pitches in the 9th, making Deion look absolutely foolish in the process.

Good times.

Opening day against Colorado in 1998.
Clinching our first division in SF in 1999.
Breaking up Gagne's save streak, at home, some year in the 2000s.

Breaking Gagne's save streak was played in LA.

other than the obvious ones, like the RJ perfect game and 20 K game, i would say this season when we beat the D-rays after being way down. i was at the game, and many cool things happened that made the game fun.

Doug Davis got his first hit in like 200 ABs or whatever it was
We were down about 7, everyone left, i got to move down to the front row, and Chris Young hit a walk off homer in the bottom of the tenth (I THINK), after i yelled "end it for us Chris".

when anibal no hit them :D

probably my favorite would have to be either of these two games I attended

the first was a july 4th game vs MN - randy was pitching and the d'backs won - scored tickets from a scalper before the game and went on a whim

the 2nd would be a late season game versus the giants - had upper level tickets behind the plate - randy versus bonds was electric - bonds was chasing the record and the crowd was in a love hate scenario all night - they booed when the pitcher would work around him and cheer wildly with each out

both were solo trips to the park - just enjoyable baseball games

A lot of games over the years, but most recently...

Peavy getting 16 strikeouts (including 9 in a row) and we win when Drew hits a two-out, two-run homer in the ninth off of Hoffman.

We went to a lot of great games this past season and already have tickets to a couple of games for this coming season.
