I agree with red. Although I would be happy with black as well. I hope they change it. I cant wait until tommorow.

The only problem I have with the red is that it blends in with the helmet too much (much like the Seahawks helmet)

The only problem I have with the black is that it resembles the falcons too much.

I have no problems with the white.

I LIKE ALL THREE!!!

Unless you are within 5 feet of the helmet how can you see a predominately red logo on a red helmet? It is going to be a blur just like the Falcons were when they first shifted to black helmets. There was no red in the logo then and the white border around the logo was to thin to make it stand out. It looks better now but it is still hard to see from a distance. A dark logo on a light helmet or a light logo on a dark helmet works. You need a contrast in color. That is how your TV works too. If all the colors on your TV were dark you would not be able to see a damn thing. Dark on dark cant be seen.

White please if there is a God.

My guess is that they won't be white because of the white stripe around the logo. If the white stripe is a permanent part of the new logo then it makes no sense to put it on a white helmet because that part of the logo doesn't show.

See this quote from another thread:

The White outline is just a keyline, I believe. Just for printing on dark backgrounds. Most logos include this, including the old Cardinals' logos.

I don;t think there's any way the Cardinals' brass puts it's players' heads in a black helmet/oven.

I pick black. Plenty of teams (Steelers, Jags, Falcons, Ravens) all play with black helmets. Last time I checked, black helmets has not been to hot for them. In fact, they all play pretty good football. There are numerous other teams that have dark helmets.

I think that the helment that will be used is the white one. Michael Bidwill has stated along at the changes would not be major.

Then again, none of those teams play in the desert.

Steelers - the cold of Pittsburgh
Falcons - Dome
Ravens - the cold of Baltimore
Jags - Warm, but not very HOT
Cards - play in an OVEN

I want white helmet with yellow or red face mask.

Or the helmet that is nothing but black with the eye.

I voted Red and Black. I figured if they're gonna change it, they may as well go all out. Also as Pantone said in another thread, "...a lot of people (who don't know any better) wouldn't really notice that it's much different." In other words, with the white helmets, they'll still see the "same ol' Cardinals".

I'm somewhat of a traditionalist, but I really do like the new design. I also like the direction the organization is going in. Playoffs in '05!

We only have one more year in SDS, being a team in the desert doesn't matter.

True, but just for this year even, I would think, at least for the hot games in SDS, they would use the white helmet (or red)

Plenty of teams have played in a dark painted helmet and you never read in the paper about it being a disadvantage

But none of those players play in SDS in the summer/fall when teh on field temp is around 120 degrees.

All the other teams with dark helmets play in a dome, in mild weather, or in the cold.

I agree however, when the team moves into the new stadium, it wont really matter anymore.
