I wanna build a team that isn't worst in the league in close games.
You're absolutely right! It has come down to that. And replace him with a legitimate Shooting Guard.I want the Suns to choose which PG they want to keep, Bledsoe or Dragic.

I see no problem with keeping Green as instant offense off the bench rather than in the rotation, a taller version of Barbosa.
Just as much, they need to replace Thomas with a legitimate backup Point Guard.
But then, the Suns Front Office would be admitting that their cockeyed experiment of flooding the floor with Point Guards and benching starters in 4th quarters failed.
But it has already gone past that point (pardon the pun).I have no problem with IT coming off the bench behind a primary PG.
But it has already gone past that point (pardon the pun).
With IT closing out the 1st and 2nd halves, he is the primary PG, pushing our starting PG either out of position or to the bench.
Further compounded by IT being a very undersized Shooting Guard. He is not a backup Point Guard at all.
Which is why I posted the opinion that the Suns need to replace him with a legitimate backup Point Guard. If they keep IT, he should be out of the rotation and used as instant offense. But it is too late for that.
Indeed they are, as I've posted in the past. You're absolutely right! When it comes down to the nitty-gritty, the coach makes these decisions, not the players. Perhaps your concern should be about the coaching and the decisions made by the GM.

Especially when the Head Coach cites how he was a victim of it as a player and is now repeating it with his players.
Another thread talks about how the Suns lead the league in technical fouls.
When players are frustrated, that is going to happen. Especially when so many of them are played out of position vs. bulkier players who, especially during the second half of the season, get the calls.
Our situation with technicals is only going to get worse. The court is the only place (other than going to the Press) where the players can let out their frustrations.
One set of problems lead to another.
