What players in the starting lineup would you not want to start next year?

The guys I don't want to start next year are Gonzo and Counsell. I don't think Clayton will be here next year even though the papers say otherwise.

The guys I don't want to start next year are Gonzo and Counsell. I don't think Clayton will be here next year even though the papers say otherwise.

Clayton will be back unless they feel Drew is ready to make the jump, which I don't think he is just yet. I like Counsell because he hustles and rarely makes a bad decision. We don't have too many 2B prospects, and while Cintron's bat makes him a tempting option, we would be without a quality leadoff hitter.

Personally I don't want Green or Gonzo to be around next year, Gonzo more so that Green. Not because I don't like them (they're both great guys), but neither figures into our longterm plans and their position on the team hinders our ability to get our great youngsters into the lineup to develop.
