You definitely had me going.
That said - There are few if any players in NFL history who "could do no wrong."
Adrian has won the respect of his teammates and NFL opponents (That's got to be worth something). But it doesn't mean he consistently grades out at 100 either.
Call me nitpicky, but it still bothers me a little that he took off plays in the Pro Bowl. (I know, I know. It's a meaningless exhibition game; but still: I just believe that - whether you're competing in the Super Bowl or in a friendly pickup game of flag or touch - if you love football, you leave everything out there on the field on every play.
My point - A-Dub isn't God. A-Dub doesn't suck. A-Dub is merely one of the Top SS's in the NFL. But A-Dub is mortal.
Last season, I watched our 280 lb rookie backup defensive end (Calais Campbell) consistently beat our gunners down the field on ST's. Now that's what I'm talkin' about!
