You are dead to me!

:)

Playing in AZ makes the most sense. A veteran QB has already taken this franchise to the big dance. We have a facility that is capable of being closed (and, ala Kurt, if Peyton wants the roof closed, then close the roof ... no lip from you, BIM!). We have #11, who can catch ANYTHING you throw in his general vicinity.

All signs point to AZ ... at least I hope they do!

Yeah, the roof would NEVER be open if Peyton signs. That's the one part that would suck, IMHO. But I could learn to get over it. :D

I voted for Denver. I just think it is the only option for a Tebow exit that won't piss off the fans. Stays in the AFC and an easy road to a division win.

Manning would be a great Kolb exit, but I think it is going to be the Broncos. Any talk of Miami or Houston or Tennessee is a smokescreen.

The only flaw with your theory is why would Peyton care about the Tebow exit strategy? He could easily have a division win in the NFC West and then who knows?

Just think how much tickets would be worth if the Cards sign Manning. I could sell half the season and have enough money to take a private jet to finally come out to the games again.

:D

I don't even understand why DEN is part of the conversation, yet it's between DEN and AZ at this point. Therefore, I say AZ.

TEN makes sense from Peyton's perspective and so does MIA (though I think our O is better). If it were currently between AZ, TEN, and MIA, it would be a harder vote for me, but since it seems to be between AZ and DEN, if Peyton chooses DEN over AZ, then clearly he has not recovered fully and we may not want him after all....

Oh, Peyton could give a crap. It's the Broncos that are in need of a Tebow exit without pissing off the fans. You can't run a Tebow offense in the NFL.

Well, ultimately the decision is Peyton's to make, so the Tebow thing shouldn't be an issue. Why the hell should he care about that?

Did you read what I posted? Peyton could care less about who the current QB of the team is. It's the Broncos that care.

Maybe the confusion is over the fact that you mean "couldn't care less," you know, the opposite of what you wrote. :)

Ugh. I am terrible at English. Show me debits and credits and numbers and I'm fine. :)

Of course I read what you posted. My point is Peyton makes the final decision and I don't think what the Broncos care about necessary factors that much into whether or not he signs with them or not (meaning, Tebow's exit strategy is not his concern).

And, if it were up to the Broncos, they would have Peyton. But, it isn't up to them. It is up to Peyton.

Agree. Tebow or Kolb are cut or traded from their respective team as soon as Manning signs.

Perhaps if I posted this today, the numbers for the Cardinals would decreased based on the anxiety most of us have right now

Cardinals.

The more I think of it the more I think PM's visit to Denver was out of respect for Elway and, yes, to listen to what he offered.

But, I'm calling Cardinals for a whole bunch of reasons including Ashley Manning being a VERY private person. She can live a nice, normal life here. (As was illustrated to Peyton by Whiz at dinner. And something tells me Peyton knows he can work with Whiz.)

I've watched Peyton get that killer look in his eyes for a lot of years now. When he gets that look, who's he going to want to throw the ball to?

Larry.

I understand why Denver would have interest in Peyton, but do not understand why Peyton would want to go there. Colder weather, no dome...and he'd unseat crowd favorite Tim Tebow, the guy Elway just recently got behind as "his guy." Also - Who would he be throwing to?

Also - Peyton would always be in the shadow of Elway in Denver...

This.

I don't see the fascination, though, as others have said, I don't know Peyton, so what do I know?

I can't help but thinking the Cardinals would have a much greater chance if Stevie B were still here.

Usually in these type of situations there is a dark horse.

Tennessee

I've been thinking that it's very feasible that a total dark horse could emerge at the end that absolutely no one has any insight/source on -- Baltimore seems like the type of team/front office that could get something done without a whisper and doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense on the surface but also wouldn't be impossible (Flacco is a free agent after this season, so they aren't locked in for the long term with him).

Not going so far as to call it, but for some reason I haven't been able to shake Baltimore in the back of my mind since this whole thing started.
