Uh, DR hasn't played a snap and Beej is raw and unproven. If we're going to sign any Big Johns in the offseason (which is questionable, though we desperately need to), it has to be along the defensive front.
Agree...the offense looks good except for a 6 foot burner for the slot...
This off season has to be about getting some A or A+ front 7 guys... I like our off ball guys and a couple of our trench guys. But we could bring in 5 guys between NT, DT, DE, OLB...and never miss a single guy we had to cut to do it.

Stills,Darius,Beej,Collins....the rest can go.
I know a lot of you don't like Collins...but if we had a pair of penetrator in the middle and a legit pass rusher on the opposite side... I'm pretty sure Collins could pull 6 or 8 sacks a season...simply because he is athletic and fundamentally sound and when the pocket collapses the QB has to go somewhere.... right into Collins arms for the cleanup sack is fine with me.

I'd have no problem with sending away 2 1sts. Same as the Rams gave up for Jalen Ramsey.

The chances of getting someone of Maxx Crosby's caliber with 2 1st round picks are slim to none.

For Crosby. A 1st.
I would do a 1st and and a 3rd that Could be a conditional 1st for Myles Garrett.

I Think this team is close to competing. We see how PJJ, Williams, Stills, Wilson (to lesser extend Stills) has developed in their 2nd year.
We see the glimpses of NFL starters from a vast majority of this year’s draft (Small sample size).
Getting proven talent at the biggest position of need would elevate this team.

Maxx Crosby?
Total stud and 27 years old. He could be a cornerstone of this defense for years to come.
But at what cost?
I’ll wait to post my opinion after seeing a few of yours.

Wow, this thread is fantasy.

You'd be looking at two 1sts minimum.

29 year old Davante Adams cost the Raiders a 1st round pick, Jalen Ramsey, in his prime as Crossby is, cost two 1sts, Tyreek, in his prime, cost a 1st, 2nd, two 4ths and a 6th. Khalil Mack at age 27 was traded for two 1sts. Jamal freaking Adams cost two 1st round picks. Laremy Tunsil cost two 1st round picks. Frank Clarke cost a 1st round pick. Buckner cost a 1st.

You ain't getting the best pass rusher in the league in his prime for anything less than two 1sts, and it would likely be two 1sts, a 3rd and a 5th type deal. And you'd still look back on it as a steal.

@HairZach is the only one here remotely close to reality.

I would give up that prize for Garrett without thinking twice. The problem is the finances. If the Browns trade Garrett, they would have a cap hit for the next two seasons of 45.5 million. Coupled with their issues with Watson’s cap, and the dead money-hit they will already take for Amari Cooper, it seems unlikely to me that they would do that. While the salary cap doesn’t matter much, you also cannot ignore it.

I would give up a conditional 2nd that could turn into a 1st for Crosby.

Probably a 2nd round pick. He's not cheap. He has two years left on his deal so you probably need to extend him. That's what keeps him from being a 1st rounder IMO. (also this draft looks great for defensive front players so I am not excited about trading top 100 picks.
One of the rare times I agree with Brit.

You guys might be high, lol. No chance in hell we would get Crosby for anything less than a 2025 1st & maybe a 2nd with even more extra Day 2/3 picks if the Raiders felt generous.

You are using the wrong data point. Trade price in the off season is NOT the same as mid-season.

Sweat, Young and Williams all went for 3rd rounders last year I believe
