He doesn't want to play football. It's not like he's sitting at home waiting for a call from the Broncs to cancel the trade to Tampa or something - in several interviews, he's clearly stated that he doesn't want to play in the NFL any longer.

Any trade to Tampa for Jake would be a throw away trade IMHO - Jake doesn't want to play any longer, for any team, and that includes us, as well as 31 other teams as well.

Jake's gone - nothing is going to get him back, and we might as well forget about trying to.

This will now become my standard response to the "Bring Back Jake Threads" unless new information comes to light.

Thank you. Every time I hear someone tell me that we should bring Jake back I ask them why not bring Boomer back because it makes about as much sense and is more likely to happen.
