Just get a pick. Okafor is the only other thing I am interested in. I do not want to give up other young talent just to move Knight for Alderidge. I have no interest in Bogdanovic. I am not really even interested in Noel.

Okafor adds a dimension that this team does not have right now--low post (not pick and roll) scoring, and he is a young player they could control for a long time. If Okafor beats out Len for the 5 of the future, then we can let Len walk, or sign him for back up money. That still leaves the pf position open for Chriss and Bender.

To me, Okafor would be as good a choice as about any pick we would get. I am not sure what we would have to give up in addition to get him, probably a pick of some sort.

BTW. One Kings fan wrote this on a message board. Just interested in what you think.

I'd do Chrisss-Bender-1st for Cousins and WCS. I'd take that deal over any Boston offer

That article is pure speculation. Knight may or may not be "on the verge" of anything, but there's no way to have any idea based on what's in that article.

Cousins is only signed through next season and he will likely want to go to a contender. In the proposed trade the Suns would be giving up their future in Chriss and Bender for a player that has not taken the Kings anywhere. Now if the Suns wanted to be a third team in a trade to move Knight, I would be all ears.

If one searches the internet, there are rumored trades involving Knight everywhere.

It should have been Dragic + Isiah Thomas (whom, by the way, is a legit superstar in Boston. Wow is he good)

add them to our current lineup of Booker, TJ and whoeversplayingcenter, and wed have a very, very prolific scoring offense.

The main reason dragic had his hissy fit was because of Thomas, there's no way they play together.

What has Dragic ever done besides playing losing basketball as a PG?

Dragon was put in the corner watching the ball. Can't have more than one ball hog on the floor at the same time. We had three. Now we only have two when our sixth man of the year candidate is out there with Bledsoe.

As for Knight's worth I'll take about anything without giving up assets. Cut him if necessary. Barbosa and Ulis can easily replace his production.

I agree he should be traded but I think he's getting a bad rap on this board. He seems to be playing hard while in and does provide some offense off of the bench.

He has had a good attitude with being benched, he is playing hard. But he does not seem to play smart, efficiently, or within the team concept. His problem is between his ears. Its frustrating to posters here and elsewhere because it seems like it would be such an easy problem to fix.

I'd do it if we had a decent coach and GM but we don't, actually even a decent point guard would probably do me. As it is I'd rather 'stockpile talent' (here's looking at you Philly) and wait until Sarver realises the McD sh*t show is going nowhere in its current form and starts again (again).

Is that not a decent rag? Valley of The Suns that I follow on Twitter. It's funny though cause every article ever written about us I tend to know better what's going on from the message boards so nothing ever really surprises me, unless it's a big trade or something.

In the red corner it's Phrazbit and Slinslin, in the blue it's sf88 and me. We should probably lay it to rest! (although I have qualified by saying it probably wasn't just Dragic, it was Dragic and Bledsoe and the intangible called chemistry).

Or wait until we see out Dragic running the show in Miami works out for further evidence one way or the other.

I dislike watching Knight so much I might even accept Noel in return who I do not rate as much value at all given his medical history, contract status and potential character issues.

People should have to pay a fine for discussing Dragic in a non-Dragic thread.

I think you nailed it that Dragic was not happy playing off the ball.

IMO, Knight has value especially if combined in a larger trade. Trading Knight straight up would likely not yield much.

I can't speak to the quality of the publication in general -- it looks like a fan vanity site to me, but I could be wrong. But the article itself has no content. It says what we all know, which is that the backcourt is crowded and a case could be made for trying to move Knight. Beyond the headline, there's no claim whatsoever that anything is on the "verge" of happening.

There is no way IMO that the Sixers would trade Noel for Knight but I would love to be proven wrong.
Hasn't Noel been out so far this season with an injury? I think PHI would rather get someone who can actually play rather than sit injured on the bench. Noel is another player who can't seem to stay healthy, we already have our quota with Warren.

To bad HOU came to their senses and decided against dealing us Capela for Knight.
