There are good things that are going on lost in a tidal wave of mistakes.
Head Coaches get paid to teach players how to minimize mistakes.
Good owners don't let the talent level especially the experienced talent level get this low.
Game prep, Game management, Player Coaching, Player talent Evaluation..... It goes on a and on it lies at the feet of just about everyone in this organization.

I think it is a little early to press the panic button.
I understand people, especially those that had suffered in 100+ degree weather to watch, are pissed at how bad they lost the last game.
I figured the Cards would win 6 - 8 games, nothing I have seen has changed my opinion. If they continue to turn the ball over and not get any it will be hard to see any potential in this team and McGinnis will take the blame for it.

Well that's a loaded question, who would I replace if I was the owner or what will the Bidwill Cardinals do is two different things entirely.
Say I were joy hefty Billionaire and I just purchased the team this is what I would do.
Have a long long talk/interview with Rod Graves and either fire him or keep him my guess is he would be gone. Someone in the Mold of Charlie Army or Even a guy like Fergie gets the job and gets total control from there.
He then interviews every person in the organization and decides who stays or goes all the way down to the waterboy. He hires the coach the coach hires his staff also the coach would have told the GM who he liked and then that is set.
We pay market deals for players we don't go crazy until every player is evaluated by the coaching staff and GM then I authorize the guy to spend whatever it takes without getting us into cap hell.
The GM hire is the tough part and I would take my time on that one and then get whoever I really liked.
Note here Graves may or not be competent but I would get the best possible I just don't think he would measure up to that not that I think he is bad or anything.
What the Cardinals will do...
Limp along with this staff and set of players until someone needs to be shot out of mercy.
Make incremental changes always with an eye on the money since they really have none and rinse and repeat forever.
Things like sign Emmitt Smith for publicity and then scratch my head as attendance actually declines.
I could go on and on but it isn't worth it.

I initially predicted seven wins, but I included both the Detroit game and the home opener against Seattle in that total. I'd be curious to know where you see six--let alone eight--wins for this team, in the fourteen games that remain.

I don't know were they will come from. Injuries play a big part in a season.
If the Cardinals hold on to the ball and control the clock I think they can match up pretty well with anyone on the schedule.
Granted I expected them to beat the Lions but they will have to make it up and win an unexpected game somewhere.
It is just a little early to plan a funeral IMO.

I said other, we need to protect the football better. If we didn't have all the TO'S in Detroit, we would be 1-1 and last weeks game would just be 1 game in a long season, and we wouldn't be so "excited".

This team never even gave itself a chance...Starting out on the road the Cards played fine for 3 quarters but somehow got away from it's game plan..I do believe that throwing the ball 60% increases the chance for turnovers..once thing went bad it snow balled. Game 2 was really a complete mental breakdown. First these are young players..running out onto the field and seeing noone in the stands HAS to effect the players...couple this with evey media outlet calling the Cards the worst team by far and it WILL effect a young team. Then comming out and fumbling on the first offensive series, the second, 3rd 4th..etc...then have your starting veteran QB go down..and the team gave up...This team COULD be much better than what they have shown..if Mac can keep this team together and they can get a win and some confidence..then this team could still win some gam,es...but if it goes the other way..Mac could lose this team by week 6...

Like others have said, it's certainly more than one thing. Obviously turnovers are a big problem for this team. Also, it seems like some players have a hard time believing the team can win.
You know, it made me sick to hear all those Seahawks chants. I know the players have a job to do, but how good is anyone at his or her job when very few offer support? We always go back and forth about when the team will get support ... after they win, surely. But I think people are more inspired to win/do well when people are behind them.
It's frustrating. I'm frustrated. I think almost everyone associated with this team could be doing a better job, including the people in AZ and I don't mean you die hards.

That said, I'm not ready to throw the towel in on the season. Anquan is incredible. I thought the offensive line did a good job in giving Josh time to throw the ball last week. And, you heard it here first, I didn't think Josh did that bad of a job after Blake went out. Is that to say I want him as our starter? No, but I was surprised at what I saw. I thought McAddley dropped way too many balls and that the receivers need to pull those passes in and not tip the ball so it can be intercepted.
Things are bad, but I'm not conceding total waste-of-a-season just yet. Of course, I don't have dillusions of Super Bowl grandeur either.

Jim's right about the turnovers. We at least have a chance to win if the turnovers stop.
We have a lot of problems to fix but some of them should have already been done.
1. CB Graves should have either signed, traded or drafted a top CB. There is no excuse for this.
2.DE- Again there is no excuse, it was a major weakness and Graves didn't get it done.
3. WR- Boston should have been franchised and kept. That is the only smart move there was to make and Graves blew it again.
Things that should have been done after the draft.
1.With the loss of Boston a vet WR should have been signed or traded for. And no, Larry Foster doesn't cut it.
2. When we had the chance to sign Dan Wilkenson and Marco Coleman they should have been signed. Graves again sat on his hands.
3. Alex Molden was sitting there to be picked up and nothing, now Tay Cody is sitting there and nothing. We don't have a CB other than Barret that can cover any decent WR let alone guy's like Terrell Owens or Randy Moss.
Things they can do now to improve the team.
1.Fire Marmie and let coach Mac make the Defensive calls.
2.Sign Tay Cody.
3. Start Boldin and Johnson the rest of the year.
4.Let Marcel Shipp play more.
5.Throw the ball deep a lot more. Other defenses are just daring us to by stacking the box 8 and 9 deep all the time.
6.Throw the ball to Emmitt out of the backfield like what we used to do with Larry Centers.
7.Start Gerald Hayes at MLB.
