What's with the "add a tag" pop up?

Is there a way to keep it from coming up? I find it very annoying. I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to do to get past it.

It's a feature not a bug! :sarcasm:


It's supposed aid in searches. Just type in a topic relative to your post and submit.

I didn't think it was a bug. There is a place to list tags. Do we really need the pop up? I hadn't started a new thread in a long time and I found it very confusing as to how to get past it.

Second just check the box in your profile to disable it

Just add a single word related to your post. I thought it was silly at first, but it really aids in the mapping and search ability of the site. :thumbup:

Scroll to "Thread Display Options"
Under Tag Reminder Profile, change the radio button from Yes to No.

It does make searching better for all of us AND for people on places like Google, etc.

Tags are huge, they are on every blog, or flickr, YouTube, etc...
