The 2025 NFL Draft is four days away, and the fan bases of every team in the league are starting to congregate in Green Bay, Wisconsin. On top of them heading to the northernmost location of an NFL team, the media is also heading there this week as they prepare to cover the event for us to enjoy from the comforts of our own homes.
How can we enjoy it, though, if we are not heading to Green Bay? We have some answers for that.
We want to explain to you when, where, and what the schedule is for the NFL's annual draft, also known as the annual selection meeting. We know it affectionately as the NFL Draft. It is a can't-miss event, and it is the one time of the year when every team believes they are on the path to winning a Lombardi Trophy.
The NFL Draft kicks off on April 24 and will run through April 26 as they go through all seven rounds of the drafting process. The draft used to take place on two days, but as the event gained more popularity, they decided to extend it to make it a primetime event.
On April 24, it will start at 8 PM EST / 7 PM CST. Day two will take place on April 25 at 7 PM EST/6 PM CST. Rounding out the coverage will be the third day, which starts at Noon / 11 AM CST on April 26.
Day one of the NFL Draft will have just 32 selections as they do just the first round on April 24. Rounds two and three, which means selections 33 through 102. The final day of the draft will have picks 103 through 257 before the chaos of undrafted free agency kicks off for teams.
