Where do you rank Charles Barkley?

I've always struggled to accept the idea that Duncan was a power forward but Garnett clearly was a power forward for most of his career. In fact he played far more minutes at the small forward position the first fifteen years of his career than he did center.

I'm glad you mentioned KG as a SF here because that's how I viewed him most of his run in Minnesota. It wasn't until he went to Boston that he truly became a fulltime PF, in my opinion.

He was LeBron like in that he was moved all over the floor in Minnesota because of his skills and the talent they surrounded him with. I know there wasn't a lot of talent there, it was mainly they'd take what they could get and KG had to make it work.

His MVP year when the Wolves made the WCF though he was primarily a PF and started to really assert himself as an all time great.

Ok if we knock out all the 7ft pansy PFs that should have been centers and really were for the most part.
Id rate Barkley at #1 if that was the case. You cant teach what Chuck had/has.

Height doesn't dictate position. Magic was a PG despite being 6'9". Ben Simmons is a PG as well at 6'10". Durant is a 7 footer and he's not even a PF much less a Center. Dirk was also a 7 footer and never played like a Center.

If height dictated position then Barkley would have been a SG, maybe a SF.

KG was amazing. Not sure we’ve seen a franchise butcher a superstar’s prime that bad. I remember him single-handedly snapping our win streak in 07’. If he’s drafted by the Spurs or stays healthy in Boston we’re talking about a top10 legacy.

KG was amazing. Not sure we’ve seen a franchise butcher a superstar’s prime that bad. I remember him single-handedly snapping our win streak in 07’. If he’s drafted by the Spurs or stays healthy in Boston we’re talking about a top10 legacy.

Fun fact, the Suns had not lost a game to the Timberwolves until KG's rookie year, the 95-96 season. They won 25 straight prior to that.

Granted the Wolves became a team in 1989 but its still kind of interesting.

Malone had Stockon spoon feeding him his entire career he made the game so easy for Malone and still with all that muscle his go to move was a jump shot. How?

Dirk was just complete on offense post up moves for days and could nail it 3 feet behind the 3 point line with ease. That championship run was one of the most insane things I’ve ever seen.

It seems like there were about 5 years where every summer and trade deadline I would pray that the Phoenix Suns could figure out a way to turn Shawn Marion or Amare Stoudemire + parts into KG. His defense was just incredible and he had a great elbow jumper.

We were so close to sliding kg alongside amare. That pairing with nash would’ve been amazing.
