Wait a second. Your poll has items based on opinion and based on fact.

I would love if Kobe came to the Suns, but I think he will stay with the Lakers next year.

I think a better poll would be the following:

Lakers
Clippers
Nuggets
Suns
Jazz
Spurs
Golden State (if they make the rumored trade)
Elsewhere in a sign and trade

If we assigned probabilities, GS if they make the trade becomes more likely than even Kobe staying with the Lakers.

Why is that? Especially since they would still have Jason Richardson...

I really couldn't care less about Kobe.
He is a fun player to watch and it can be interesting to discuss posibilities, but I am not a fan of the Suns making a big push to sign this guy.

Untill the trial is concluded it is hard to have a serious discussion about where he will go.

Kobe is still most likely to resign reguardless of whether GS gets the room. GS would be in the same ballpark as the Clips and Suns.

I agree that re-signing with the Lakers is still the most likely choice. If the court case drags on, then there is little doubt.

One real possibility is that Kobe may get off, but not get "vindicated". OJ was acquitted, but it did not help his reputation. The very skill of Kobe's lawyers may result in the typical comments of "best justice money can buy".

If that happens, it would be in Kobe's interest to sit tight and wait a year for free agency.
