Where should I go to get the PS3?

Get an Xbox 360, you'll be much happier and have a few extra bucks in your pocket. You can also play Uno against me online.

From what I hear, PS3s are in stock all over the place (Best Buy, CC, etc). It's the Wii's that have a lesser supply.

Anywhere. Everywhere.

I shop at games stores all of the time. Every Gamestop/EB Games/Game Crazy etc. has them in. Every Bestbuy or Circuit city has them too.

But I must agree with abomb. You should get a 360 and treat yourself to Gears of War, Oblivion, and another game or two and still save some money left over.

I like Xbox 360 mostly because it has been out longer and Microsoft's online strategy is superior. You can download games, movies, tv shows etc. Most of my friends are on 360, so that helps too.

I was a total PS2 guy last gen, but I will never own a PS3.

D-Dogg can give you a nice rundown of games. I mostly play Madden 07 and Uno online (downloaded from Xbox Marketplace). I played the Medal of Honor games and thought they were great (it should be noted that I ususally hate first person shooters).

Be sure to grab an extra controller and an Xbox Live subscription card. That will get you going online. I think the console comes with the headset.

What is uno?

Uno, is the game that you remember from your childhood. Uno. Except you play it on Xbox online with friends/strangers. You can also use the camera that goes with it if you are so inclined.

If you are into Sports games, there really isn't a great one for the 360. Madden 07 is great for multiplayer, not so much for single. It is the only football game we have though.

If you are into War games, then definitely pick up Call of Duty 2. It can be found for around $20, and it is much, MUCH better than Call of Duty 3 on the one player mode. Call of Duty 3 is fun for multiplayer, but Gears of War is the war game that you should buy.

If I were you, I would get.

360 Premium
Madden 07
Gears of War
Extra Wireless controller.

That should cost you a little more than $500, and it still cheaper than the PS3.

I will take your advice on Gears of War and maybe get Call of Duty. I liked that one from PS2.

I liked the Brothers in Arms games on the PS2.

What is 360 premium?

I like the multiplayer games so I can kick my brother's ass. I wonder if I should get that Call of Duty 3 then. I can see myself playing alot of the multiplayer against my brother and step son

Call of Duty 2 was an amazing, amazing game. Theatrical, especially on a big screen HD with surround sound.

NBA 2K7 is a good sports game.

I've heard Saint's Row is a fun game...I played Godfather and liked it on the 360.

I don't really have much time for playing.

But definitely get Gears of War.

You can also download a bunch of demos for games on Xbox Live, so you can test them out to see if they are worth buying.

The Premium is the only version to get...costs more than the standard, but comes with the internal hard drive (10 gig or something). The other version (costs. 250 or something) isn't worth having...you want the hard drive.

I have Godfather for the PS2 and loved it.

Download the demo for Saint's Row...if you like Godfather and that style of game, you'll probably like SR. I haven't played it myself (the demo is on my hard drive) but a lot of friends have and love it.
