After winning the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association tournament championship, the UNCW men's basketball team is going dancing.
The Seahawks (27-7) return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017. They'll learn their opponent and seed in Sunday evening's NCAA Selection Show, which begins at 6 p.m.
The Seahawks will host a watch party at Trask Coliseum on Sunday. Doors open at 5 p.m., and admission is free.
Top scorer Donovan Newby was named the 2025 CAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, leading the Seahawks past Delaware 76-72 in Tuesday's championship game at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.

CBS's Jerry Palm also has UNCW as a No. 14 seed in the East Regional with No. 3 Maryland, No. 6 Kansas, and No. 11 VCU. CBS also believes the Seahawks will start in Providence.
USA Today believes UNCW will be a No. 14 seed with No. 3 St. John's, No. 6 Michigan, and No. 11 San Diego State or Texas in the East Regional from Providence.
The Bracket Matrix formula considers the pre-eminent bracketology projections from across the web and averages them out to create a composite 68-team field. Of the 85 projections tracked by the site, UNCW's average is a 14 seed.
