On that 2010 team, no one might have expected us to beat the Saints, but did you expect to lose to the Seahawks twice, the Bucs at home, Minnesota after flummoxing them the year before, San Francisco twice, and a Carolina Panthers team starting Jimmy Clausen?
I expected us to lose to every team after losing Kurt Warner, Bertrand Berry, Chike Okeafor, Anquan Boldin, Karlos Dansby, Antrel Rolle, Mike Gandy and Bryant McFadden and cutting Matt Leinart right before the season started. Didn't you? What NFL team loses 7.5 starters including the QB plus the backup QB of the last 2 years and wins the next season?
Again.. we had the Super Bowl Champion Giants and 12-4 Ravens down by 10 and 21 scoring 27 points in each game and gave them away. Our defense will not do that this season. And that's how we will score more points than our opponents.
It is going to be like 2009 when we beat every team in the NFC North. Hard to believe that the 2009 Cardinal team scored 152 points in 4 games against NFC North opponents. I don't think we'll manage that this season though.
