I'm dont think Lvingston is the solution. I think Dee Brown was released simply because his contract will become guaranteed soon. We'll meet the 13 men limit by 10 days contract. We'll keep doing so until late Feb or March, unless there is an ideal target show up.

I was fine with Dee Brown to be honest. Its not like we're aiming for the fences now that his slot is free. Why not guarantee his contract and give the fans a little feeling of stability. Now we're going from an iffy backup to another iffy backup.

looks like they could go after livingston. i'd be for it. what's the worst that could happen? if he gets back to old form, we'll look like geniuses for picking him up. if not, no real loss.

I don't know about Livingstone. I realize that the Suns have the best training staff in the league (probably best in the sports), but with Livingstone, we are not talking about a minor meniscus tear and micro fracture surgery. If I remember correctly, he tore just about every ligament there is to tear.
On the other hand, it's not like he'd be getting any playing time anyway. Unless they can get Pargo or Marbury, I really don't care who the backup point guard is as they're not gonna see any playing time anyway.

Might as well pick up Livingston and try him out. I remember seeing the injury and just thought that it was career ending. I am really surprised he is trying to play again.
