If Ben and Eli are both gone by #3, then the Cards have some real soul-searching to do. Fitz would be interesting, but I would hope if they're going the WR route that they'd take Williams. And, I would hope that they'd pass on the WRs altogether and take Taylor.

I still don't want to draft a wr. Not even on the first day, much less the third overall pick. If the QB situation comes around, the Cardinal offense will be OK. The Defense needs immediate help.

If the QB's are gone I go for the best defensive player available ever who that is and what ever position he plays.

Honestly, and this is going to sound insane, but I think that Eli Manning is going to be the QB "left over".

Think about it: Can Eli's position be improved? I think that everyone knows what they're going to get with him, but the media around Ben Roth may be creating a "perfect storm." I don't think that anyone is really cheering for another Manning at #1 overall, and I think that the Chargers or Raiders might be bullied into taking Ben early. Roth can only help his draft position in workouts, but Eli can only hurt his, and so I expect him to be a little conservative in his workouts. I won't stake my reputation on it, but I think that Roth might be chosen #1 overall.

I think that whomever drafts Fitzgerald is going to understand why Boldin was drafted in the second round, and is bound for disappointment. It'd be like drafting Keyshawn Johnson.

I can't imagine Oakland not drafting Ben or Eli. Gannon may have one year left and unless Tuiasosopo has shown them something magical that I haven't seen, they have nothing left.

Unless it actually happens, I just don't think Fitzgerald is a top 3. Maybe top ten. Historically, WRs don't go that high unless they are speed burners along with the rest of the WR skills. Rogers and Johnson were highly thought of in a weak draft last year and were seen to be burners and catchers who ran great routes. Larry catches extremely well, average seperation skills and average speed. That doesn't seem to add up to a top 3 anointing. Roy Williams is closer to a top 3 to me. I think the shock of the draft would be if Raiders took Sean Taylor or Kellen Winslow, but I can see them doing a trade down unless they have toatlly given up on Tuiasosopu at QB.
