Who were the QB's that season. I'll help you out with 1. He played today. There are trolls but you're the worst kind.

Lol. You are an idiot. I refuse to be happy with just participating in the playoffs.

So you'd rather have a team that lost 11 of their last 12 games rather than a playoff team. I hear the Bucs need fans. Go root for them.

What the hell are you talking about ? I'm pissed that this team is crapping the bed before my very eyes and yet because we essentially qualified for the playoffs weeks ago we are supposed to be happy with a 2-4 finish down the stretch?

The point is. Yes if course anybody in their right mind would take this team over the one in 2012, but to be happy just getting there is not enough.

You damn right I'm going to complain about settling for a participation trophy. I want a championship not a pat on the back. Excuses are for losers.

Which is exactly what we have going on here. No ones happy about it. No one wants it, but it is. We are starting a QB in the playoffs who wasnt even good enough to make the final 53 to start the season. End. Of. Story.

You can be sick about it (probably a bit of hyperbole, no?) or you can rally and remember how amazing this team played until it simply couldnt take another punch. Id much prefer a championship, but under the circumstances and the walls of isht that were thrown at us this season, Im proud as hell.

There's nothing wrong with expecting more.

Winning 11 games is awesome, but it would feel better going in to the playoffs winning games rather than losing them.

Calling out fans who have their heart into it sucks.

Who's calling anyone out? We're simply providing a bit of levity. I didnt disparage Clif for his passion, but I did question whether his expectations may be a bit unreasonable at this point. There is a difference.

At least SD and Atlanta did it right today and lost so now don't have to go to the playoffs. I bet the Ravens are pissed though.

Nobody is happy going 2-4.The fact remains sometimes **** happens and there isn`t a damn thing you can do about it.Fate or the breaks just happen that way sometimes.Sometimes the happy ending just don`t happen.Peoplke are a little more encouraged because Lindley played a bit better today and if the defense plays well the Cards have a chance. You are whining about this year a finishing poorly...................well pal where you around in the 60`s when Cards where rolling along with division lead and Charley Johnson got injured out for season then Cards lost 3 in a row and missed playoffs completely. So it could be a lot worse.:bang::bang:

I'm going to start using this more and more when appropriate:

Perfect placement.

Look, Those Who Are Upset With This Season, if you have followed the Cardinals for any significant amount of time, it is easy to see what a blessing this season has been. Sure we have been cursed with injuries, but compared to the lifetime of misery most of us have dealt with - this season, despite the recent downturn, has been awesome. Heck, they event coached up Ryan Lindley to 300+ yard and 2 TDs. As someone who attended the atrocity known as Cards at Jets 2012, that is an almost unthinkable accomplishment by Arians and staff.

So, relax, have a Cream soda. We made the freaking playoffs. Most teams have booked golf vacations by now!!

Call it what you want. I don't accept mediocrity and losing to a team with their coach half way out the door.
I bet you get pissed when it's 85 and sunny that it's not 86 and sunny.

Not to mention the 1987 team was in 1st place at 7-4 when Neil Lomax went down. That team's offense was very good.

Hard to be upset with this season on any level. this team is ridiculously well coached, and can certainly win at Carolina.

I'm just sick to my stomach right now.

So take some Pepto Bismol or stick your finger down your throat to get everything out of your system. Next week the Cardinals will be in the playoffs and if you're still complaining about being sick you'll miss all the fun.

p.s. No one likes the kid who got a present from Santa then complains he doesn't like how it was delivered. Especially when there are kids who got coal in their stocking.

The 4-0 start to the 2012 followed by an epic collapse or the 9-1 start to finish 11-5 and just look putrid to start the playoffs. I'm just sick to my stomach right now.

What epic collapse ?

Lets see any team perform on a 34th string QB not to mention the other injuries

This thread reminds me of how mad I was when Ohio State made the NCAA Playoffs with their #3 QB.

I would have much rather had them go to the Popeye's Bahama Bowl so they'd have a better shot at winning :doi:.

Oh well. Call me what you want. I for one am not happy with the way this team has played for weeks. It goes without saying that I'm happy they're in the playoffs, but I want wins not showings.

What do you want guy? Half the team is hurt. Show me another team with as many losses to impact players who won 11 games. Hell, the Panthers were relatively healthy all year and all they could muster were 7 wins. If we were healthy going into the playoffs, I believe this team could beat anyone but it just wasn't meant to be.

I want a team that can show some semblance of an offense and not crap the bed in two of its biggest games of the year. Granted by the 4th this game was meaningless, but last week and this week are real let downs. This coupled with the crap performance in ATL. Hell we know the QB position is a train wreck, but the defense the past few weeks has been run over consistently.
