S11:

I'm assuming you mean projected starters for 2004, not everyone on the roster at a given position. With that in mind, I can go along with Dexter Jackson as among the top third of the league's free safeties, and I'll give Dennis Green the nod at head coach based on past performance. Anything else is a stretch.

Wide receiver? Anquan Boldin is a rare talent, but the other two starters in a three-wideout set look to be Larry Fitzgerald, who has yet to play a down in the NFL, and Bryant Johnson, who underwhelmed as a first-round pick last year. The rest of the WRs are just a bunch of guys.

The remaining better-than-average Cardinals starters (e.g. Leonard Davis, L.J. Shelton) also get hurt in a position grading by the other players they're grouped with (Cameron Spikes, Anthony Clement).

This is tough. I mean, how many top-10 starters do you expect to find on the roster of the team that scored the fewest and allowed the most points in the 2003 season?

Come on, Josh McCown/Shawn King/Preston Parsons/Jon Navarre gets a vote? Hear that sound? That's this poll's credibility going out the window.

Hey, apparently someone thinks that Ronnie Mac is one of the top 10 MLBs in the NFL.

the WRs thing is funniest to me. Okay - we all know we WANT to have a position that's in the top ten - but that doesn't mean there is one. Quan is a stud -but other than that - there is nothing proven on this team whatsoever - potential - but we've all seen what potential has gotten us in the past - The Big Red Line and the Cactus Curtain come to mind immediately.

Who's the top ten running back on the team?
Just vote for everyone.

Remember: Marcel Shipp is going to rush for 1800 yards and 12 TDs while also accumulating 800 receiving yards and 5 TD catches.

That's right.

FS and head coach are good calls -- C is right on the periphery IMO - Creeaaappp! When the hell is football season gonna start? Does it really srat in mid September this year - like the 12th or something liek that? What happened to the year starting on Labor Day weekend -that was sdo great - you could as absolutely sh*t-canned as humnaly possible for the frist game of the season AND have a full day to recover the next day!

Defensive Tackle and Cornerback. It's good we didn't address those more in FA or the draft, because as we all know, we've got nothing but pro bowlers at those positions. :D

I voted Fullback (although I'm not sure how much Hodgins will be utilized in Green's offense), Tight End, Center, Free Safety, and Head Coach.

I voted based on the starters, not on depth at each position

Not to mention the votes for DE or DT.

DG is in essence the GM of the team.

How many teams have a DE who got 11 1/2 sacks last year.

You cannot address every position. The NFL doesn't work like that.

I'm calling you out....

Does something going out a window make a sound?

That's how I voted too. Hodgins got my vote for 2 reasons 1. we've seen what he can do when he was with the Rams and how much Faulk struggled without him and 2. there aren't many standout fullbacks to compare him too. He's basically top 10 by default.

I wonder how the vote would break down if LT and RT were two seperate categories like the OLBs?

But it isnt anywhere close to top 10.

And thats the point of this poll, not "what positions have a good start?"

Okay name the teams with better DEs then the Cards.

Worse: MIN, SEA, SF, STL, DET, KC

Better: MIA, BAL,

Having one stud makes up for having a non-stud on the other side.
