How long are the Cards gonna keep ignoring the position & getting by on the recycled bin? I bet they don't draft a QB in the first3 rounds in 2014

Geno is getting paid peanuts. He is young and learning while Palmer is on the downside and a clear liability right now. Palmer is near done while Geno we be the man in NY for the next 12 years.

I would've liked Geno in a Cards uni in rd 2.

I agree, the Cards have to address the position ASAP. The million $$$ question is whether BA is willing to mold a young stud QB at 61 in his 1st HC position.

you really want to sign another band-aid? good QBs just don't come available on the open market. our litany of atrociousness at the position and trying to sign damaged goods is evidence of that.

Warner was a once in a million thing...his entire story is. Peyton was a one in a million thing...and that was only because the Colts had his heir apparent ready to go behind him. There's no QB hitting FA who doesn't have major warts next year.

And unless you have one, you basically have no shot. Especially winning consistantly & for more than a year or 2.

At some point Keim is gonna trade up & pull the trigger or he's gonna be in the unemployment line

I'm about 99% sure they will grab a QB this next draft. There are a handful of QBs that are light years better than what was available last year.

The comparisons to any other QB don't truly hold up. RGIII or Wilson? He's faster and more elusive than both, and neither was nearly as good so early in their career. It really doesn't matter who else you think of, he's broken the mold. Which is why his evaluations are all over the place.

I'm sure there are some Manziel haters around but it's not like it's coming out of nowhere. Unstable people rarely make it in the NFL and he's shown signs of being unstable. I wouldn't give up on him by any means but I'd sure as heck do my due diligence and then maybe do it again.

Brees is a professor with flawless footwork/mechanics. Not much alike other than size. I like JF but not the comparison, he reminds me of RG3 as a prospect without the maturity.

Manziel, I fear, will have the same issues as Cam Newton. He will not be prepared for the NFL. He will not put in the work because he is used to not having to put in the work. He will still think he can make things happen with his athleticism, so no need to prepare.

It'll take him 2-3 years to figure out that his natural talents won't carry him to success in the NFL like it did in the NCAA.

After he goes through his growing pains, I have no idea what kind of QB he will be. But I fee pretty confident that he won't be a factor for the first few years of his NFL career.

I am trying to think this one through. Manziel is not as small as has been previously reported and he might be growing. He is 6-0 in bare feet. He is cocky and uber talented. He is also EXTREMELY smart and seems to know how to market himself. He is quick with his feet, very good qb mind, and has a reasonably strong, accurate arm.

No one likes him. Sorry, I just cannot see why this guy would fail. I think I take Manziel.
