Since when is a fumble recovery not a play to win the game?
You guys, including the coach who pound this "well we should have made the plays to win" are picking and choosing which plays you think we should make. This game is won and lost on turnovers, especially when you have an elite QB who, despite being a gigantic vagina, knows how to win in the clutch. The team DID make a play to win the game - and it was eradicated by an blatantly incorrect call.

It wasn't a fumble in the classic sense. Had the cards forced it, sure, no problem. Cruz brain farted and I don't want to win like that. How about not allowing that completion to begin with? How about picking it off? How about forcing a fumble? THAT's making a play. How about putting Eli on his ass? How about not playing Eason, Holliday, and Schofield to start that drive? How about calling a timeout before the 4th and 2?

That's what I'm pissed about. Not some guy basically heading back to the huddle and the Cards trying to find an asterisk in the rule book. Just win the damn game.

the team MADE a play... BS. they didn't do ANYTHING on that play except miss a tackle and then stand over a guy who fell down... and then jump on the ball when the guy made a complete rookie mistake. that's not "making a play" that's being handed a gift. unfortunately, that gift was returned and instead of realizing that the D actually had to DO something to win, they then QUIT right afterward. there were still three minutes left... we were still winning, the Giants were still just outside of FG range... and we rolled over and died. you can't argue that.

By all accounts, Boger blew this game for you. The call was flat out wrong. Yet, instead of having a little fire, a little passion, a little anger, we get the same old "well it shouldn't have come down to that...." nonsense. No it shouldn't have, but when your team is JOBBED you need to stand up, take the fine and fight back.

Grow a pair!

You do know that criticism of officials buys you a fine, right? Also, you publicly call out the officials, how do you think the rest of your season is going to go?

Everyone should stop crying about that call. Make the plays to win the game and you will win it. End of story.

I knew ASFN would be loaded with this bull.
+1

When you have a 10 point lead with 5:16 left to play, at home, you better win the game. Plain and simple.

I feel like Steve said it perfectly.
Even keel. I don't want my leaders to panic.
I want to be able to panic and know that they're going to stay true while I rage and try to kill someone.
