What I would like to see
Counsell
Glaus-Home run based only
Webb
Vazquez
Lyon-if he comes back soon and have 20 to 25 saves by then
Gonzo-if he is hitting 320 and can get a few more homers

In reality though
Glaus or Counsell-will be a toss up
Webb

With Mike Lowell totally crapping the bed and to a degree Scott Rolen also.... there isn't much competition at 3B in the All Star game for Glaus. Maybe Chipper Jones and David Wright could sneak in there on the fans vote, but I think Glaus definately gets in.

As Craig Counsell's biggest supporter his first time around with the D'backs . . .

And reading how many posters thought that it was a mistake to bring him back and bat him leadoff this season . . .

It's nice to see you putting CC at the top of our all-star list.

Glaus has a .968 OPS, which is good enough for second place in the national league for Third Basemen. Counsell should get in, he leads the NL for 2B in OBP. No reason why both shouldn't get in barring the voting

Counsell has been this teams MVP in my opinion, but I don't know if that is enough to make him an All-Star - especially at his position.
