San diego wants a WR not a LB or am I misunderstanding your post? By most accounts they're looking to package their picks to move up and get Mike Williams or Braylon Edwards. Although they might be able to stand pat and get Mark Clayton or Troy Williamson AND another player.

San Diego's main need from what I am reading is a receiver. This is why I see an opening for a possible trade of Bolden (if contract cannot be worked out) for Rivers. Both of these guys were high first round picks. Bolden has proven himself but has a history of knee problems. Rivers looks great on paper. Dreaming in Little Rock.

Not a bad idea for Madden 2005 at least.

If we do aquire Henry and a long term extention is not reached, we still would be in a weak situation at RB (IMO).
So, I would go with following priorities on the first day of the draft;
Round one; 1A LB - Johnson, 1B CB - Rolle, 1C RB - Brown, 1D RB - Williams.
Round two; 2A RB - Faison, 2B OG's - Brown or Baas, 2C - DT Castillo, CB - Browner.
Round three; 3A TE - Everett, 3B RB - Houston, 3C S - Butler, 3D CB - McFadden

However, free agency aquisitions would change this. :stick:

If we trade for Henry without a contract extension we are idiots. We are not that dumb????

That's right. But if Ronnie Brown's not there, I'm not sure that he'll have Cedric Benson or Carnell Williams as high. If Heath Miller runs a 4.60 40 or better, he'll be in the Top 10, and Adam Pac Man Jones will be in a good place if he runs somewhere between 4.40 and 4.45 at his campus workout (if he runs a sub-4.40 40, he'll be a Top 3 pick). Derrick Johnson would be a luxury pick here, but if he's available, he might be too good to pass up.

One person that I don't think will be that high on Green's board is Antrelle Rolle. After he runs a 4.65 40 at the Combine, his stock is going to be as overrated on this board as Chris Gamble's was last year.

Green the former Washington speed DB was participating in the fastest man contest at the Pro Bowl. He is age 45. He lost his heat by less than a stride and was probably in the range of 4.3. He was still winning this contest well past his 40's. Amazing. DB's seemed to be the fastest guys in the NFL. I played noon time basketball on a regular basis at the YMCA about 10 years ago and a Cleveland starting DB played with us on a regular basis. This guy was about 6' tall and could run faster backwards than most of us could forward and he had no problem dunking the ball. You certainly did not want to get in front of him on a power drive to the basket. He would run over you and your mama. Keith Jackson the all pro tight end was also one of our regular players. He was a bit more careful so as not to kill one of us. Keith still is very involved in the Little Rock community and has a big time program for kids state wide. A real nice guy who is giving back. His son plays football for Arkansas and is a good player.
