no way I pass on Simmons to draft one of these offensive lineman. That kind of elite talent doesn’t come around often

Bleacher report has us taking Kinlaw at #8 with Andrew Thomas/Simmons and Wirfs being off the board.

Kinlaw over a Brown with them saying Kinlaw is the better pass rusher

Looking at this in a different way...by position.

My favorite players at positions of need (Young will not be there):

WR - Lamb
OT - Thomas
OG - Wirfs
DL - Kinlaw
OLB - Chaisson
ILB - Simmons
CB - Okudah

SoonerLou, every year, it seems, that the player the Media says is the Top 1, Top 2, or Top 3, doesn't turn out that way. So many WR's in this year's draft that look pretty good probably won't end up being the best in the Class. So, I wouldn't worry about whom the 'Niners draft. Let's just help SK with our draft by telling him whom to draft.

I like it (BPA) but Kingsbury also said Josh was his guy before the draft last year.

And KK, I believe, ALSO said that KM was the best player in the Draft. And as a new coach we had no idea about how much clout he had with the GM who would be calling the shots. So there's that.

P.S. And AFTER the Draft, KK said that Kyler was his guy.

I wouldn’t be mad at that. I think Derrick Brown and Andrew Thomas are the most proven players in the trenches

It is a highlight video, but I see enough playmaking in this video to be comfortable with Derrick Brown at 8.

I saw Brown on ESPN about a week or so ago and he seemed like a great character guy too with a good head on his shoulders.
