With our last two picks, I'd like a combo of Jeremy Beal, Greg McElroy, and Lawrence Guy.

(Oops. Clearly I've been drinking since 9.)

Chris Carter(OLB) or Quan Sturdivant (ILB). Or Both. I want McElroy as well to push Skelton and compete for the 3rd spot with Bartel.

Top 70 player on yahoo

Positives: Exceptional athletic ability and lower-body explosion. Screams down the field and can keep defenses honest and crack two-deep shells. Clean hands catcher. Can make the difficult over-the-shoulder grab and contort his body to handle off-line throws — opened the eyes of evaluators at the East-West Shrine Game practices with an exceptional outstretched, one-handed grab on the sideline. Has a passion for the game — very diligent in his approach and works his tail off on the field and in the weight room. Recorded a Combine-best 42½-inch vertical jump.

Negatives: Lacks bulk. Tight in his upper body and has some limitations adjusting to the ball. Will slow to secure the ball and gather to catch. Does not explode out of his breaks and too often rounds breaks. Limited route tree in an unconventional, “pistol” spread offense. Does not play big or physical and can do a better job of translating his weight-room strength to the field.

I'm keeping an eye on QB/WR Tyrod Taylor, QB's Pat Devlin and Greg McElroy, ILB's Quan Sturdivent, Nick Bellore and Mark Herzlich and S Joe LeFeged. Also CB Kendric Burney.

And, oh yeah, I somehow lost track of the OLB Carter but him too.

Before I forget: Does anyone think Acho - at 6-1 260 - might project better as a run stopping ILB next to DWash?

Didn't you make a comment yesterday about drinking until you forgot the NFL existed? Looks like you're being true to your word

That was only if we traded Patrick Peterson away for Aldon Smith and a second rounder.

Now it's just pure hedonism. :D

Getting Acho and then Carter two rounds past projections would have been killer.

9 picks away from Carter: DOH!

Here is Walterfootball.com's assessment on PIT Drafting him:

Kevin Colbert continues to dominate the 2011 NFL Draft. Chris Carter could have gone as high as the bottom of the second round, so this is a major steal. Carter won't contribute right away, but he could step in once James Harrison moves on. (Pick Grade: A)

I like NT Ian Williams at this spot.
NT Jerrell Powe too but there must be some major red flags for him to have fallen this far. Still, for a 6th rounder, he has good ability.
