My team.

Wow! Three championships, when I spent my 1st 40 years on this earth just hoping & praying to win one!

Today I am at the exact other end of the spectrum from where I was leaving Raymond James Stadium on Feb 2009. That day, I couldn't have felt sadder. Today? I am as happy as I can be!

Hopefully, some day, our football Cardinals can make me happier!

Tim McCarver is living proof that just because you've done something for a long time doesn't mean that you're any good at it.
For years, I couldn't stand the way McCarver lectured when he spoke.

I had warmed up to him a bit, especially after seeing the sense of humor he showed in his shows interviewing baseball personalities.

But you're right. To go from horrible to mediocre is nothing special.

Then there is Vin Scully who, alone in the booth, does both play-by-play and color. He was good at it in 1950 (I became a fan as a kid in 1952) and is still the best 64 seasons later.

Now that the Dodgers have learned that money can't buy a championship, I expect that Vinnie will retire at the end of next season.

Out with the old, in with the new.

Screw the Red Sox and their obnoxious "fans". Band wagoners get to dust off their frat boy uniforms for another couple of years. You know the type. They're the ones no one heard from last season, but now are back out in full force to rub the WS in our faces.

Getting sick of that phrase. Boston acts like they are the only city to have tragedy befall them.

Yeah, it sucked, but seriously. Let it go.

Yeah, like a tragedy somehow entitled them to win the W.S. If that was the case, the D-Backs shouldn't have won in 2001.

We lost all three in New York. Although I don't think Byung-Hyun Kim had the tragedy in the front of his mind.
