Please no Jennings. The guy plays no defense. If your going to start thinking about the future, defense has to be a priority.

I'm not doubting your assessment on Jennings defense, however, he has been playing sparingly in Europe. He reportedly rates near a 10 in speed. I guess what I'm asking, is do we really know he can't play defense?

As already noted in the second post on this thread, I am still down with Mullens at #14.

Good God why? He looks atrocious.

I'm not afraid to walk in wet cement. :D

Mullens athletism is off the chart for a 7'1" player and he has good hands. I'm betting that he will develop gradually as is often the case with young centers. Also he has serious hops. A good PG like Nash should be able to find him as a cutter to the basket offensively. He indeed needs to develop other facets of his game. If the Suns don't draft him at #14 some other team will benefit from his upside. Let's face it, a lot of players are gambles at this stage in the draft. I prefer to go for the home-run.

You don't even know if Jennings can play defense at the NBA level. Please watch him play a NBA game before stating he plays no defense like fact. He can't be any worse than Nash.

The scouts say he doesn't play defense. I have read a few. His knock even before going over the pond was that he didn't play defense. Now all of the sudden he is gong to play defense in the NBA? Really? I don't care how fast a guy is. It doesn't equal defense.

You will get better defense out of Dragic.

"Starting to think"? Why? What makes any of the others you list as being different?

Cause Terrence Williams was the heart and soul of that Louisville team. Earl Clark came and went as the season went on. I know all his numbers and size and everything are close to right, but he was the most inconsistent player on that Louisville team.

Maynor and Williams were winners and leaders, Earl Clark was not. Earl Clark's ceiling is a Tim Thomas or someone inconsistent like that.

Please let us get Jennings and/or DeRozan.

These guys could get me excited and have superstar potential.

I wouldn't mind Terrence Williams, Earl Clark, Chase Buddinger or DeJuan Blair on top of that because they will be good role players for someone.

For those of you who aren't following the draft interviews...

r:*We've got Stephen!

jeff detroit:*what are you looking forward to the most about the NBA?

Stephen Curry:*I'm looking forward to playing in front of huge crowds against guys I've looked up to my whole life. Playing basketball for a living. I'll enjoy that on a day to day basis.

Jon (Toronto):*Were you expecting to go to New York once Minnesota didn't call your name?

Stephen Curry:*Actually, the opposite. I was expecting Golden State to pick me. IT's a good fit. A tam that goes up and down and two good guards in place. I can add a spark to the offensive game and make some noise next year.

Trent (Newport Beach):*Are you familiar with any of the guys on Golden State?

Stephen Curry:*Beyond Ellis and Jackson, I'm pretty unfamiliar with the team. One of my high school rivals played there last year. Other than that it will be meeting new guys and developing new chemistry.

Matt R (NJ):*What aspect of your game do you think carries over to the NBA the most?

Stephen Curry:*Being able to shoot the ball. It's a lost art in the NBA for a guy to be consistent of the dribble off the catch. Being a threat to shoot that's my game.

Sean (Illinois):*How much more pressure do you think will be on you going from a Mid-Major Conference to the NBA

Stephen Curry:*I don't think it matters where you come from. Once you're drafted, history is erased. I'm on the same level as the ACC guys. WE have to make our opportunities.

Carl (MN):*Are you looking forward to playing for a legend like Don nelson?

Stephen Curry:*Definitely. A guy that's established himself as a great coach and knows how to win. Our team has a great chance to be successful as any team in the West.

Look out for me in the West Coast. Stay up late and watch some games. All the Curry fans in college be Curry fans in the NBA.

Buzzmaster:*Cool guy.

Buzzmaster:*Thanks Stephen!
