B.S. How do I know? Because the renewal deadline was Friday and there's no way they can make that estimation in one morning. There will be lots of people not renewing, but there will be even more people renewing, adding seats, or becoming first-time season ticket holders.

I hope you are right. But of the season ticket holders I have talked to with a total of 24 seats, only 5 of the seats are being renewed. They refuse to pay for a product that does not exist. I believe the Cards ticket office will be calling to beg them to renew, even though it is after the deadline.

You can guarantee that will happen. They did it with people two years ago who couldnt afford to renew. Even offered payment plans.

"We decided not to renew partially because of the terrible product on the field."

:biglaugh:

What? Are you new at this? This is the Arizona Cardinals.

It's never stopped us from renewing.

We'll be there. :newcards:

We were in the Super Bowl 2 seasons ago. If I have the money, no way I would give up my seats. Ever.

I'm thinking about dumping my Directv NFL. This whole dispute thing has my panties in a wad. Once I made it personal, I realized it's my $ 350 these pukes are fighting over. I'll just use the internet or Sirius radio. I figure it's the only way I can protest.

Plus, I can put the money toward the couple games I'm compelled to come over for anyway.

I renewed, but deposit only. It's gonna be a stretch to get the rest, but I figure the Arizona Cardinals are truly a fun thing in my life, and why not?

I was debating about adding 1 seat to try and get to the lower section with my peeps, but I decided to keep the 2 tix I have in the cheapo seats. I also thought about just renewing 1 seat and move down. If I had enough money I would have gotten the extra seat. Oh well.

Looking forward to tailgating!

I have had 4 ROH seats since UOP opened...renewed 2 of them and got 2 less expensive seats for a friend to buy, that way I keep the option and see what happens...sad situation to not even be excited about the offseason or the draft...

I have always been on payment plan with the team outside of the first and second year I had season tickets. This should come as no surprise to people.

DITTO THAT! I have sacrificed A LOT to keep my tickets over the years. Going to games means a lot to me, since I spent many a year in the corner of a dive bar in Eagles country watching this team with no sound. I won't risk not seeing them play on Sunday, especially when I have the opportunity to see them play in person every week.

If that makes me part of the problem, then I'll proudly be part of the problem.

Let's talk, girl. Maybe we can make it so we move you down AND get the extra seat. My sis is on board for maybe half the games this season (more if she gets a teaching job, but, as things stand with the state, that is unlikely).

Regardless if there are a lot of season ticket holders, and re-newing fans or not.

The Cardinals will use the lockout, and drop in ticket sales (whether truth or not) as a reason for being horrible next year.

A lockout caused by greedy, arrogant, and lazy players and owners, coupled with one of the worst teams ever to be fielded by the Cardinals last year, no free agency in the offseason, no workouts in the offseason, and the assumption that the Cardinals will completely poop the bed when it comes time to re-sign their own players.............Pfft. Cancelled the Sunday Ticket weeks ago. Why bother watching what you already know is going to be a half-arsed, feeble attempt to put the bare minimum out on that field. The Bidwills are in full hoarding mode, and anyone could tell you that cycle lasts up to 60 years.

If I want to watch my money get flushed down the toilet, while watching something pathetic, and boring I will watch CNN.

Plus it is playoff hockey season. Atheletes actually competing.

With you--this was a financial decision for us (me, at least). Won't speak for dcr, I guess. I don't know if any of this had to do with our awful season last year. For me, it was an expense I just can't justify right now, and that sucks.

About 65% financial, 34% protest to the lockout, and less than 1% awful season.

Good breakdown.

In my thinking the "awful season" and lockout are one and the same. I didn't care about the team losing, and being downright unwatchable, until the lockout.

Now I care. The league is about money, and nothing else. So, now I do care that I am pretty much waiting for the Keystone Cops to come back after a police strike.

I renewed, sending in a seat move app this week. Don't know where yet, either upper sidelines or the budweiser redzone.
