The Spurs, because neither of their potential second-round opponents can challenge them. I think the Suns have a slightly easier first-round matchup, but their second-round matchup will be much tougher, whether it's Dallas or Houston.

Agree 100%.

I don't agree with much the NHL does, but I think you can make a case for reseeding after each round to reawrd the team that does the best in the regular season.

Mavs/Rockets will be very tough. Hopefully we take care of business in the first round and they have a knock down drag out series!

I think you guys give SA too much credit. Duncan ain't back to 100% - their first series is gonna be very tough - which will be good because it won't give Duncan a lot of rest and then their next series will be against Seattle - who is now completely healthy again and a team that gave SA fits over the cours of the season. They went into a tailspin because of their injuries but Lewis and Daniels are both back and they still got bigs to thrash on a recovering Duncan. It's a series the Spurs will win, but it won't be a cakewalk.

As for us - I expect us to win in 5 and then have a grueling series - but I think our relative lack of a tough series in the first round balacnes out SA's second round series.

Their rode may be slightly easier, but I think it's also that way because we KNOW what they are like in the playoffs and we KNOW how good they are in April, May, and June. I think that come sinto play as well - we don't really know what to epxect from us when the pressure is ratcheted up another notch.

The Nuggets match up real real against the spurs, just like the Grizz match up well against us.

The second round isn't even a comparison though. Assuming both teams win the first round, which they should -- SA is basically guaranteed a WCF bid. The Suns would have a hell of a time with Dallas, and even Houston to an extent.

I think the Spurs have an easier road, slightly. Denver is a tough 1st rounder for them, but Memphis has played us tough this year. Also, we will likely face Dallas in Round 2, and they are playing excellent ball lately. I actually fear Dallas slightly more than the Spurs at this point.

I think Dallas will beat Houston, then beat us in the 2nd round. They just have the same weapons but with better defensive coach.

They will then beat Spurs in 7, and face Pistons in the finals.

Dirk should then win Finals MVP... and his first ring.

But hopefully Im wrong and suns win all the way.
