I voted for Dragic as I recall. Eddie Johnson made a comment that I sort of agree with. He said something to the effect that Gortat is a center in a small forward's body. I tend to agree. IMO, Gortat needs bulk up to be more effective. I feel he plays too much basketball in the offseason which wears him down.

didnt gortat kind of slim down when he was playing with nash in his first full season? maybe im just imagining things, but i recall him being a bit bigger when he first came to the suns.

i too voted Dragic.

I voted for Gortat a few days ago but might go with Dragic now. Certainly Dragic has been much better than Gortat in the last couple of games.

I was just getting ready to post the same thing. I'm not abandoning Gortat simply because of his disappointing game at Utah but Dragic is really coming into his own.

If this poll called for voting for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, following Gortat and Dragic would be Scola and . . . Shannon Brown (who is averaging 14.4 points in only 22 minutes per game and is not yet a starter, but is a regular finisher).

I guess Beasley would have to be fifth (despite his up's and down's).

After all, winning basketball games (5 on 5) depends upon your five best players or maybe even your best eight or best ten (which has been our rotation, which is my favorite, by the way).

Edit: Correction - Gentry has settled on a 9-man rotation. A lot more effective over the long haul than D'Antoni's SMR (seven man rotation) to go with his SSOL. He is the guy who ran Nash into the ground as each season progressed.

It's pretty cool how balanced our scoring has been.
