I hate doing it but 8-8 gets us farther away from a high draft pick. Optimal situation?

Seattle wins
Green Bay beats Detroit
Washington beats the Giants
Cincy beats Baltimore
Miami beats Buffalo
Oakland beats the Chargers

That could potentially move us to 10. Not sure about tiebreakers.

Hell no, this is the only win I want.

TO TAKE OUT SEATTLE AND PUT THEM OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS IS A DREAM COME TRUE!!

I’m a lose to get a better draft pick while playing meaningless games as much as the next guy... but never against Seattle ESPECIALLY when they have something on the line like they do this weekend.

I’m 70% sure Atlanta will beat Carolina this weekend, so it won’t even matter if Seattle beats is this weekend. They’ll still be eliminated from the playoffs.

Give me a better draft pick over this. Let Seattle think they’re better than they are. They have some real problems for the next few years.

Lose to Seattle or LA and we'd have Deshaun Watson right now. Although I'm not sure we could've lost to the Rams without legitimately forfeiting.

I just want Seattle out of the playoffs so we don't half to hear from all the bandwagon fans. I'll be cheering for Atlanta to win. Obviously, I would love to have a higher draft pick but whatever it takes to keep Seattle out. If that means us beating them, then good.

Never, ever, ever...as my granddaughter would say

But, I think they kick the Cards butt. Sad to say.

can never cheer for the hags unless they are in the SB against Pitt or NE...
But I surely can cheer for this pitiful season to be over.

and trust me, this is going to be a long and arduous off season for Cards fans...
we have actively and aggressively disecting draft picks around here since October......OCTOBER!!! Since then our weekly game has just been a mild distraction, because regardless of what the team had to say we all knew it was over way back when.

all of us knew we werent in it... ever.. not a single game in 2017..... one might argue we were in it for a quarter, while we had DJ...But even those arguments are weak..

The best part of the playoffs will be seeing the results of the $59,000 the Pats paid for intel on Pittsburghs defense....even then it will suck because it is the patriots

The NFC playoffs may be fun to watch... but the AFC only has two teams, everyone else is just a sparring partner.

who to cheer for there?? Eagles with Foles??
Lambs?
Vikings?
Saints?

Vikings are also fielding a backup QB...so I will root for the Saints,...and sadly... the Lambs in this run.
Like it or not we are tied to the Rams.... both played in St Louis,... both went to the Super Bowl with Kurt Warner.... they are like our ugly little step brother...hmm, considering levels of success,...we might be their ugly little step brother...

I'll be watching the Rams in the playoffs. We are tied together sorta. We both suffered through years of mediocrity with SF & Seattle being the top 2 teams in the division for a while. Now if the Cards & Rams can rule in that order from next year on out it would be awesome. Especially if Seattle was in the basement of the division.

I hate the Rams with a passion because they still have the stench of Greg Williams on their uniforms...if one of their stars go down then ho hum, they been gunning for other stars for years. A torn ACL from their team is getting their just desserts

Once eliminated from playoff contention, I’m all for losing out. If you can’t win the SB, you get the best players you can get. The Cardinals would have won a couple of SB’s if some of our 6-10 teams went 1-15 instead.

the problem with those 6-10 teams is they started out 2-10,..finished up 4-0,..and then the staff lauded the vast improvements and tried to convince us major changes were not needed....8-8 teams get the same off season treatment...coaches trying to point out moments that could have resulted in more wins...while ignoring those few moments that could have made us winless without a touch of luck

This is my issue with people thinking with a couple breaks we could have been 13-3 and in the Super Bowl the last two years because we one a game or two at the end of the season.

I respectfully disagree with those that want to win. Say we do and Buffalo loses, Dallas loses, Detroit loses, the Chargers lose and Tennessee loses....we could go to 20th ( not sure of the tie breakers). What does that give us?
