I still like Jake Eric! He's still a bargain in the NBA, even with his faults

Woohoo, thanks Chaplin! My other point is that Voskuhl's faults put him in the same group as 95% of the centers in the league. Sure, he's offensively limited and can't guard O'Neal straight up. Well, join the club.

The biggest plus for Jake is that he plays all out and is willing to work hard. That means he is likely to keep learning and growing. Considering how many big men with more talent refuse to work hard, this is no small factor.

Jake does have a lot to work on. He need to get better at moving his feet, not making stupid reach-in fouls, avoiding charging into guys, rotating to stop back door cuts, and wrapping up rebounds with both hands and arms to keep from having the ball knocked out of his hands. But as long as he keeps working hard, he will continue to improve.
