I was thinking about so, I wanted to see who the most popular player was. The draftees count, even though they haven't played a down yet.

My favorite player? Ray Thompson. He is such an underrated player, plays balls to the wall, and I love the skinny physique since it is closer to my own build.

My second favorite would have to be Shipp. What he did last year was truly exciting, and he is far and away the best Cards back that I've watched since I started following the team.

I no longer have a favorite player. Every time I pick one he gets cut, or leaves via free agency. I'd like to have more than one draft pick stick with the team for more than 4 years for a change so I'm going with a favorite cheerleader instead.

I concur with Duckjake on this subject.

My most recent favorite was David Boston. But alas, he is gone.

This roster has had such giant roster turnover in the past couple years it is difficult to acquire a taste for much of anybody in such a short period of time.

Boston was my favorite too, but Ray Thompson and Shipp played themselves to the top of my list.

My favorite player on the team is Vanden Bosch. I love seeing him run all over the field and never give up. I still say he'll be a legitimate threat this year. Adrian Wilson comes a close second. The St. Louis game last year was awesome. He has a great attitude and some swagger. On offense, Big and Shipp for their intensity and attitude.

Now which jersey do I pick up to replace my Plummer?

Michael Stone. He is such a solid guy standing on the sidelines.

Do I have to pick one?

KVB, Thompson, Wilson, Blake, Shipp, Big,

I guess since others are doing offense and defense.

KVB Defense and Blake Offense.

Krang,

Ray Thompson had a heck of a season last year. I can certainly see how he can be a fan favorite.

Marcel Shipp was a stud in the backfield last season. I like his style of running. Unfortunately, he will be relegated to the backseat this season to make way for the drawing card, Emmitt Smith.

Marcel Shipp certainly would have been a leading candidate for my most favorite player, but I don't see that now while Emmitt is toting the rock for what I expect to be the majority of the time.

Perhaps I can rally around Jeff Blake since we finally have a QB who can throw the deep ball.

Kwamie, for as long as he's here.

BIG, KVB, Shipp are right up there too.

It'll be interesting to pull for Emmitt for a change as well.

BTW: Ray Thompson's a nice player, but I wouldn't have him at the top of my list. Reason: DUI.

Adrian Wilson. He has all the tools, and if he can get a decent supporting cast, he'll be a playmaker. I might get his jersey, if he's still around.

That's because one of the first things he did when he got in town was buy a car. He must have gotten a "sweet" deal on it.

My favorite has been #75 since he body slammed that safety from the Bears during his rookie year. He is so big and has such a mean streak! Classic O-lineman!
