Plus he buys beer for 14 year olds and has them strip in his dorm room. What a great guy..... Maybe with our O-Line one of the girls' dads can get a free shot at him without going to jail.

Why does everyone act as if Brees will be available next year? He's proving himself to be a capable, quality QB while Rivers sits on the bench. What happens next year is this: San Diego extends their contract on Brees and they ship Rivers and his high dollar contract off to some sad-sack team that desperately needs to promote a fresh "hot" QB.

A team that wants to fill a new stadium. A team that doesn't have anything to offer except "maybe this year!" Where Rivers plunks and dunks, gets intercepted and fumbles, and slowly learns how to be an NFL QB...and bails on the team just as he's almost good enough to be worth his contract.

Next year, if we're lucky, we'll see Warner again. He isn't the reason this team is 0-3.

nobody is saying Kurt is the reason this team is 0-3. How many seasons does
he have left as a starter? 2-3, maybe.

No need to bring Kurt back unless we sign at least two quality offensive linemen and draft another couple of offensive linemen that are studs. We also need a tight end that can pick up the blitz and block.

Then, and only then, will Kurt survive a season.

I hope Warner starts 16 games for us next year. I'd hate to see a rookie QB get thrown to the wolves right away. The Pennington/McNair model of bringing a QB along is what I'd like to see--keep him on the bench for as long as you can.

But that doesn't change the fact that we need to address the QB situation. Even the most ardent Warner supporters probably realize he's not long for the league. Next year is most likely his last, IMO.

Exactly.
