I still say give Josh the ball. He played well enough to win yesterday...

Too bad our defense and special teams didn't.

Although looking at some of the posts on this board McCown should be blamed for everything

Yea I posted this poll after looking at some of the posts putting McCown down. He is a young QB only getting better!

This poll is friggen stupid....

Josh didn't let a tight end catch everything at will to the tune of 160 yards

y'all will prolly be surprised that i voted for mccown. but, just b/c i'm not enamored of him, and place a large part of this loss and the atlanta loss at his feet, i still think we gotta ride him and see if he's the deal or not. king is at best a bandaid. no way navarre is ready. give josh 12 games. if he continues to tuck his wee wee at the first sight of adversity, bench him and throw navarre in to see what he's got. then, if all else fails, draft a qb, start king next year and see where that takes us.

McCown wasn't THE reason for the loss, he just played a part in it. He is still playing like a QB with not much between the ears IMO but I'm willing to see if it's something he'll overcome. I am not hopeful of that happening, I simply still believe he is not a starting QB in the NFL (by that I mean a WINNER) and never will be. But the alternatives are no better or they would already be in there.

My vote went to josh mccown. I posted this poll because I am hearing alot of negative comments on Mccown. Who are the Emmitt supporters? :D

I voted for Josh. I still am not sold on him for the medium to long term, but he came back from the Atlanta debacle and played well from a managerial standpoint, stepped it up the next game to play as he has been envisioned to play. If he keeps stepping it up at that rate, he's on track to throw for 8000 yards and 230 touchdowns! I can live with that. :)

The real question is:

Is it time to pick him up in Fantasy Football? Hmmmmm...

Why, why, why, why, why?

I love ASFN, but all this negative Josh is killing me. Josh has done nothing the last 2 games but show he should be a starter. Pinpoint passes, no fumbles, touchdown drives.

My god, he helped the offense score 34 and 28 points the last 2 weekends. The Cards never scored 28 or more points ALL last season.

Those who blame McCown for the loss for not getting a first down on that last drive... bah.... HE SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN PUT IN THAT SITUATION

Blame the defense.

Yeah...surely part of it's Jake's fault ;)

Stupid Jake Plummer. Why do we need to talk about that idiot.

He only play well if they bootleg him EVERY DAMN TIME! Shanahan knows better then to let Jake sit in the pocket. Don't let him think make him react.

We all know what happens if Jake Plummer where to try and sit in the pocket and read defenses! INT, fumble, INT, Tripped going backwards...yada yada yada

I think we should take the oppourtunity, IF it arises, and get a good vet QB. Josh is young he has at least 3 to 4 years before he "knows" what he is doing.

Peace

BTW - King is NOT a good vet QB, he is just a vet QB.....who can't throw.

McCown untill week 12. Then if the Cards have no chance of ending the season at 8-8, give King a shot.

I want to see how McCown does when Boldin returns to the lineup.

Go Cards :cards:
