Keep off the koolaid, dude. You're still new around here.

BigRedMO said:Alex Smith. This team needs to stop putting band-aids on the QB position. The offense cant produce without a player at that position. Fully one half of this team is shut down without a QB. Any picks or FAs on offense other than a vet caretaker/mentor QB is wasted without first addressing QB in my opinion.
It's a great year to be getting a QB...in the second round.Duckjake said:You are right but is Alex Smith the guy? This doesn't look like a good year to be getting a QB and so would Smith be a "need" pick like so many other Cardinal failed first rounders or is he a real talent?

I'll get you for this. I don't know how, and I don't know where, but I'll get you.Stout said:Exactly

I'll have the last laugh when the Cardinals draft Frye in the 2nd...or when someone else drafts him and he lights it up.Stout said:

Poorknight1 said:Not to sound belligerent but I was checking out your current mock draft and noticed you had Pac Man at 18? Unless the guy busts out a blistering 4.65 40 there's no way that he falls that far. I'd really probably take him over Rolle except I don't believe he'll still be on the board when the Cards pick.

JGleas said:Hey Stout,
1.It's Lefors, not lafors
2.He is a 4th Rounder at best. Great speed and accuracy, but is 6-1, 200 lbs. and needs to build arm strength.
Im not to high on Pac-Man and don't believe any top 10's except the Cards will even think about CB unless two things:Poorknight1 said:Not to sound belligerent but I was checking out your current mock draft and noticed you had Pac Man at 18? LOL! You spell predication, well PREDICATION. I just ran it threw a spell check on Microsoft Word and it say's yours is wrong and mine is right lol.Russ Smith said:On that note Josh I would HIGHLY recommend you do some spell checking on your site too, among many you misspelled prediction as predication on the top of your mock draft.

The "rule of contact after 5 yards" is the exact same rule they've had for years, if not decades. It's simply been a point of emphasis since the start of the 2004 season.JGleas said:If the NFL brings back the rule of contact after 5 yards which im hearing is likely, then it will go back to a Shut Down CB's game aka Rolle and Miller are better prospects then Pac-man.
Russ Smith said:That's because PREDICATION IS a word, just not the one you meant to use unless you meant your mock draft to be "proclaiming or preaching."
And if you run McNown through the dictionary you'll find it's an actual QB, just not the one who plays for the Arizona Cardinals.
Seriously, you were right about the spelling of Lefors but I'd think you'd want to take the same care with spelling on your own site, there's spelling errors and other mistakes all over it.
Skkorpion said:Stout, Rivers completed over 70% of his passes. That's mind bogling. It's the single most important measure of a QB's chances for success in the NFL.
Rivers, assuming good health, will develop very quickly into a top 5 all-pro QB.
